When ArchKnights "Eat" Your Sig, they dont leave you the sig (or at least PM you the sig).
What if you have a sig that you didnt save, or has a code you dont remember?
I would like to ask that if ArchKnights "Eat" Someone's Sig, that at least they PM what is written in the box.

(Sorry if its a little short, its like 7PM here and im still jetlagged)

A staff member needs to be involved in the process of modifying a user signature.
The removal is done when a signature violate the forum rules.
PM the original version might just be another hassle (or even not allowed if the content breaks certain rules).
It is up to the user to backup any information sent/stored on the forum.

First, an archknight can't eat antoher's sig. Only the Moderaters can do that.

Second, Niki covers the rest quite nicely.

Adding to this actually, say for example, you had this as your signature:

All they have to do is then go like this:

You're signature has been eaten. etc.

A hassle, I think not.

If it's a link in the signature that's wrong say for example:

http://www.google.co.uk/

Could be changed like this.

http:// www .google .co .uk/
Sig eaten. Link was bad. etc etc

Again, not really a hassle, and if the code was quite lengthy, it would be a bit easier for the user.

Also, I know many people that use TinyPic for uploading, those links are impossible to remember, if it was just a bad link on the image which needed removing, it's a pain to have to reupload it.

Also, if the content breaks enough rules that it's not even allowed ever, like pornography or something, then you could quite easily remove it entirely, since they're obviously not going to need it anymore.

If your sig breaks rules, it's removed. It's the user's responsibility to back up their signature.
It would be a hassle, as often sigs are not only pictures, but text as well.
The point of removing a signature is removing the signature. Changing it to a link doesn't remove it, and random links in signatures are generally frowned upon.

If a link leads somewhere bad, it is to be removed. Adding spaces doesn't stop people from using the link. (copy/paste/delete).

Again, it's your responsibility to back up your signature. The best way to avoid this situation is to make sure that your sig follows the rules.
