Although I stopped/ will be rarly playing ED, I played ED more than other AE games because it was PVP.

Because epicduel has much more meaningful interplayer contact. In AQW you and the other people just hover around and bash monsters. Interaction is minimal, and there are no factions to hold people together. Also, chatting with friends at a distance is much harder with whisper than with ED's chatbox. WF, AQ, DF, and MQ lack all direct interpersonal contact.

I would like to say that I had adored Adventure Quest for a long time because it was a really great fantasy. The thing it lacked was progress, evolution, revolutionizing, adapting, growing to advance on its own game-play.

In ED, I actually get to interact with real people (well besides AQW which I don't play). Then, if I get sick of that, I go to Oz World 6 and start dancing. /DANCE

ED has Battle Tokens too which I can't seem to stop wanting!

Because unlike other games, This uses strategy and I fight real online people. Instead of NPCs

I play cause my current internet situation cant handle any proper online games :) and ED is the only one that feels like World of Warcraft for putting together your builds :)

I accually need stragay to defeat 2vs2.

cuz its PvP and online so i can talk to ppl unlike AQ or AQW or mechquest which has gone way down no updates and monthly rare is quarter year rare and im nnot even going to start about pony vs pony thats the dummestsht ive evar seen -.- and DF its gotten boring i used to play ti but quit much time ago....and im adopted.....actually im not adopted....

Indeed it does, require strategical thinking, not only about what type of weapon of use etc, but using a certain skill will effect the battle a little later on, even using a 10 energy costing skill could have bad results if you cannot regain energy for another skill, or for a heal etc. I know my "routine" in battle, which works pretty well every time so i do not have to do a great deal of thinking, just plan whether or not to play how i usually play: (malf, gun, aux heal/strike, and repeat from gun etc) or play more defensively which can sometimes be more beneficial over offensive play.

Cause there is infinite amount of battles and builds u can make or have. Unlike (noflame) AQw yeah there are quest but they end eventually.
