AntiGuardian Plate: "Converts Damage to Darkness"...should just be "Darkness".
SteamJack Armor: It is stylized as "SteamJack Armor" not "SteamJack Armour". And its rate should be changed from 33% to 33.33%. Yes, the .33% does make a change.
My Way Armor VII: The numbers for its sports form should be: 232% BR and 454% S.

Took care of the SteamJack armor. but the regarding the AG plate it should say "Converts Damage to Darkness", and the numbers for the My Way armor are correct. Thank you. ~B

Ice Salamander Rider

Standard armour. Good against Earth and Ice.

Power Level = YourLevel-5

The attack is two hits:
  • The first hit is Fire, with Melee converting to Ranged. It deals 2/3 damage, takes -5 BTH and deals *85/80 damage, and gets the standard elemental power boost/compensation that skills get. (Note that it's a Fire skill on an Ice armour, so the boost is ~nothing.) (Also note that explaining how to calculate the boost would take a whole paragraph, so I'm just going to let you use the KoO spreadsheets.) Also, due to the type and element effects, it disables the type- and element-changing effects on your weapon.
  • The second hit is a normal attack with your weapon. It gains +5 BTH and deals *85/90 damage.

IMR, for the sake of us, math nerds, do you mid giving us the formula for the Elemental Compensation?
Even if it takes a whole page, we'll do our best to, well, understand them. Thanks.

For each element, compute the following:

    (Damage_Taken_Mod / Damage_Dealt_Mod) * Blocking_Mod

    Where:
Damage_Taken_Mod = ( [Your current $element resistance, with an expected shield] / [Expected resistance, with an expected shield] )

    Expected shield resistance is -0.00000948*PowLvl^3 + 0.003356*PowLvl^2 - 0.426364*PowLvl -4*PowLvl/150
    Expected armour resistance is 99 + 0.0015*PowLvl*PowLvl -0.6*PowLvl -4*PowLvl/150

    ~

    Damage_Dealt_Mod = ( [an $element monster's expected resistance to Fire] / [monster's top expected resistance] )

    Expected resistances are:
    Fire: 70
    Earth/Energy: 85
    Light/Darkness: 100
    Wind/Water: 115
    Ice: 130
    ( This should look familiar.)

The monster's top expected resistance is always 130.

    ~

Blocking_Mod = [The average of the armour's Defences]/[Expected armour defence]

    Expected armour defences is round((0.5*PowLvl - 0.5) / 3) + 25

    ~

Take all of them, and use whatever one is lowest.

For example, for the PowLvl 145 armour, the compensation is 1.085. This is because:
    #It has 41 Ice resistance
#Expected ice resistance on an armour is 39.67
    #Expected shield resistance is 24.03
    ##Damage_Taken_Mod equals (41 - 24.03) / (39.67-24.03) = 1.085

#Expected Fire resistance on an Ice monster is 130
#Expected top resistance on an Ice monster is 130
    ##Damage_Dealt_Mod = 130/130 = 1

    #Your average defences are (49 + 49 + 49)/3 = 49
    #Your expected defences are 49
    ##Blocking_Mod = 1

    In total, that's 1.085/1*1 = 1.085

All of the other resistances produce higher results:
    Fire	10.21
    Water	4.7
    Ice	1.08
    Wind	3.76
    Earth	1.85
    Energy	5.08
    Light	4.32
    Darkness	4.32

So you use the lowest, which is 1.085

Err, sorry, I got the Blocking_Mod wrong in the elemental compensation. It's (85 + expected - average)/85. It still works out to 1 on the Ice Salamander.

Fully-defensive Ice armour. Also good against Wind.

PowLvl = YourLevel-5 for Guardians, or YourLevel-20 for Adventurers.

    Defences: ROUND(((0.5*PowLvl-0.5)/3) + MIN(5*PowLvl/100;5)) +25

    Fire: 120-ROUND(15*PowLvl/150)
    Energy/Earth: 105-ROUND(10*$A$7/150)
    Ice: round(95 - 0.597*PowLvl + 0.00149*PowLvl^2)
    Wind: round(97.43 - 0.606*PowLvl + 0.00314*PowLvl^2 - 0.0000107*PowLvl^3)
    Everything else: round(99.02 - 0.314*PowLvl + 0.000685*PowLvl^2 + 0.0000241*PowLvl^3 - 0.000000145*PowLvl^4)

    Attack:
    BR: 0.8*round(100+3*PowLvl)%
    Stat: 0.8*round(100+6.6*PowLvl)%
    BTH: round(PowLvl/8-0.5)

    ~

The breath weapon is a spell:
    Base: 0.75*(0.00375*PowLvl^2 + 0.5625*PowLvl + 5.25)
    Rand: 0.75*(0.0075*PowLvl^2 + 1.125*PowLvl + 10.5)
    Stat: 0.75*round(100+6.6*PowerLevel) %
    BTH: (PowLvl/4), rounded down
    Cost: 0.75*(38.1 + 2.3375*MPLvl + 0.01125*MPLvl^2), rounded normally

It uses your equipped weapon type to determine its attack type: if you have a Melee or Ranged weapon equipped, then the spell is Ranged. If you have a Magic weapon equipped, then the spell is Magic. Stat bonus to damage is either INT/4 or STR/5 + DEX/20, depending on weapon type (possibly +LUK/2). Stat bonus to BTH is either INT/16 + DEX/16 + LUK/20 or DEX/8 + LUK/20.

If the hit connects, then you attempt to Burn the monster (4 rounds). The monster takes a -20 penalty to its save:
      Level: PowLvl vs MonsterLevel
      Major: YourEND vs MonsterDEX
      Minor: YourLUK vs MonsterLUK
The burn lasts for 4 rounds and has power 5/2.8, which means that in the formula for calculating Burn, you replace the 0.2 with 5/28. Fire-element monsters are immune to the burn.

(There's no elemental compensation on the spell, since you're using a Fire spell in a defensive Ice armour, which is exactly what you're expected to be doing.)
    Added, thanks! ~Koree

As with when the giftboxes were released we spent time deciding on a method on how to approach them and we ended up using appendices for the gold versions. We will again be using the same approach for these items and I would like to ask you to not worry yourself with attempting it as we will be doing it. Feel free to do the Z-Token version write-ups as per usual.

Your image appeared to be taken on medium graphics quality. Remember to take all screenshots on high graphics. Thanks anyway. ~Koree

I have not realized that I was playing on Medium. I thought I was using high graphics since that what I use for taking screenshots. Okay, will do. Thanks :)
