But considering that some of the bugs are extremely obvious (e.g. King Alaric ignoring resistance, code appearing in ally chat consistently), then one has to start assuming that they aren't doing sufficient testing. A few typos here and there, one glitched weapon or so, and bugs that require unique steps to cause would be acceptable, but very obvious bugs show the lack of testing occurring. As for their income, you don't know how much Titan and the others make. Acknowledging that they are the main and sole developers and supervisors, I am sure they make more than usual developers, but assuming, 60K-80K, then they are making over double the average income in the US, which is around 30K. So I am sure they are doing much better than "managing a living". Besides, being a Comp Sci/Business major myself, planning to attain an MBA along with a CS Degree in a 5-year Engineering/MBA program, I wouldn't degrade the value of a Comp Sci or any type of engineering degree. We are/will be taking insane classes like the proof-based honors linear algebra, algorithms, discrete math, parallel programming, and so on not for crappy jobs. Engineering produces the highest average income among all majors, more than business majors. Doctors may earn higher salaries, but while we take only 3-4 years to complete our Comp Sci program, they are studying and doing their residency for 12+ years. Being a consumer you should stand up for yourself, not make excuses for the people who should be delivering. If DELL or HP gave you a busted laptop after you paid $600, then you shouldn't talk about how the developers worked hard, but you should try and complain to get them to give you a better product. Last semester, one of my professors said something that really stuck with me. After a few failed attempts over a few days at fixing a projector (it would work for a while, then break the next time), my professor said to the techs: "I want to see positive results, not hear excuses". I think good results, not excuses of their failings, is what we all want to see. To end on a positive note, this new battle trackers sounds promising for balance efforts, but Titan or some staff member should make a video showing us how it works (what about lower levels, does it count NPCs, how does it work for juggernaut and 2v2, can players see the percentages like a leaderboard). There are a ton of complex exceptions that needs to be handled for the tracker to work effectively.
