I'm thinking perhaps Rage needs to be looked at again.

The current mechanic includes this:
As an attacker, rage is gained at a rate of 110% of damage blocked (by the opponents defense/resistance) + 1% per 4 support you have over the defender, up to a maximum rate of 125%. If at a support disadvantage, the minimum rate is 95%.

Just had a str BM rage with gun, then he strikes (blocked), strikes (blocked), and rages again after just those 2 turns.

Was pretty surprised and it got me thinking that perhaps the rate of Rage gained should be lowered somewhat.

What do you guys think?

Are you a tanking though? He still gains rage, even if you end up blocking him.

I think that support should give 1% rage for every 3 support instead of 4
and that Adrenaline should be buffed a bit. Today there are way to many
tank builds out there. The promise for moving deflection to technology
was to make the other stuff on support stronger but this has not happened
yet.

What support benefits right now:

- Chance for first turn
- Critical hits
- Rage gathering
- Some skills:
Tech Mage: Defense Matrix, Malfunction
Bounty Hunter: Energy Shield. Reflex Boost
Mercenary: Field Commander, Artillery Strike, Intimidate
Blood Mage: Reflex Boost, Intimidate, Energy Shield
Cyber Hunter: Defense Matrix, Malfunction
Tactical Mercenary: Field Commander, Artillery Strike

Chance for first turn should be raised too when having more support
than other duelists.

I guess rage is fine the way it is. BMs don't have a damage debuff so they rage fast.

You are forgetting one mechanic from rage. If the attacker is blocked, the attacker gains a huge amount of rage points to his/her rage bar. For a level 34, you need 125 rage points to get rage. If I were to calculate the str BM's strike damage which is like 56 - 62 damage, the str BM only needs a few points to get rage. But since they have very low defense and resistance, you can hit high damage to them and that damage dealt to the str BM is already enough to gain rage by 2 blocked strikes and hitting them hard.
