@Soulprisonerx I am not a very active player or I lose a lot because I try the most random builds known to man and most of the time I am online my win rate is like 30% being full F2P doesn't help either nor does playing on Epic which is jammed pack full of Variumites

Ahhh, reading other people's stories makes me want to post my own so heres mine:

When I first started in Epic Duel, i was a Massive noob, I started out as a Tech Mage, I was really bad compared to other people, as they had Beta Gear and stuff, and all i had was non varium equipment, I then got bored of Epic Duel and went to AQW, i was alright at that, then i got my guy to level 45 http://www.aq.com/aw-character.asp?id=Hary%20Potur, and then i kept on playing pvp for a bit getting rares which came out in shops, but then i remembered when my friend showed me Epic Duel, a few years ago, I was like 'Hmmmm, this is gettin a bit boring, I will see what Epic Duel is like', I never knew that i would fall in love with epicduel again as i would always play AQW whenever i had the chance so, after i got back into epicduel I got my characters up to lvl 10+, and then I eventually quit AQW and kept on playin Epic Duel, after a few months of playing I was feeling a bit like a noob, so a got a bit off a boost, I started to buy Varium, I usually buy varium about once every 2-3 weeks, and it really helps me in the game, althought i get the odd poor people who cant afford Vaium who say 'Lol, varium Nob' but, i dont care just cause they dont have the money to spend on a game, idc... So i started a new character http://epicduel.artix.com/charpage.asp?id=I think its me 'I think its me' he is a TLM a fairly good character, but i got bored of TLM, so a made a new character http://epicduel.artix.com/charpage.asp?id=Whos Gonna Die He is a good Cyber Hunter, although i get called a noob, im actually quite good :P.

So thats my story of how i got to where i am now in EpicDuel

Edited out inappropriate language. ~TG

The first time i joined AE was back in 2008. Back then i only player Adventure Quest, but as i went deeper, i realised there were other AE games, AQW caught my eye, so did DF, MQ. So i made Chars on all these games, it was until ED merged with AE, and on the AQW DNs, i saw ED, it looked fascinating, somewhat like MQ/AQW mixed together, so that was when i made my first ED char.

I was a Bounty, and didn't have much friends, so till lv6 i quited, and continued playing AQW.

Then one day, my friends started playing ED(they used to play AQW with me), so you know, i couldn't stand being alone and decided to join in, that was when my actual ED life began.
I was a noob Bounty Hunter, like with a ration of wins and losses to 5:7. So yea, pretty bad record, then i joined my first faction, when i was at Fortune City, a player named as
Dr Jekyll, recruited me into Jekyll and Hyde, from then on i made lots of friends, including VampirEVIL, xxsecretxx, Racerx1, Matric, and .0mega.

It began to be really fun, and i remembered how everytime Dr Jekyll would log on, i would Private Chat with him, and we would discuss about the latest changes from the Design Notes, and Balance changes etc. Although Jekyll ad Hyde was dissed a lot by other people, i believe i had the best time in ED ever, the faction was great, but it wasn't progressing, basically the reason now why i have a good record, and good at making builds, is all because of Dr Jekyll, my Mentor if you want.

The day i left that faction along with my friends, i regretted it almost immediately, but it was time to move on.

The only thing, that i would ever regret in my ED life, is not having the moment, of saying goodbye, and adding him on my Buddy List---Dr Jekyll. I hope he still plays, because i would visit his House in ED, almost everyday, hoping i would see him, and give him the word 'Sorry'.

I started about a month and a half ago. I started off as a bounty hunter for one and a half weeks and then changed to cyber hunter for a week (at which point I hit level 29). I then changed to tech mage and have been a tech mage since.

Interestingly enough, I started playing because I wanted to play a different game besides Dragonfable. EpicDuel seemed like fun. It took me about a week before I figured out where to find everything. I had about a 85% win ratio in 1 v 1 as a bounty hunter and then it fell to 80% as a cyber hunter because at the time, I didn't know how to make an effective cyber hunter build. I preferred 2 v 2 because it was fun working alongside a partner (although I hated Juggernaut fights). Now, I would prefer to face Juggernauts, even if I was only a level 29 going up against a level 34 (rage is my friend). I'm currently level 33 and I have about a 90% win ratio in 1 v 1 (took a while to bring it back up) and a 72% win ratio in 2 v 2 (this also took a while to bring back up because I did a lot of 2 v 2 early on).

Now, I spend a lot of time in Central Station chatting with other players or doing 1 v 1/2 v 2, depending on how I feel. Oh, and now that I have a few houses, I tend to hang out there when I 1 v 1/2 v 2.

Well It's pretty much a long story :)

Started out as a Non-var TM during the beta phase.I had no idea how we played the game, I did care weather i lost or won because it was was just fun. When I reached lvl 20 I realized the proper way of making a build . One day I came across a group of non vars ,I was no way no their league(They were TM's btw) So I promised myself that I would too become one of those Strong/Well know non-var TM....I thought I had my chance when I made my version of big tuna build(Trust my when big tuna came out back then she was pretty much the biggest badass npc's of their time but I defeated her on my 3rd try ). I was the first person to post the build on EDF but I wasn't the first to beat her only 2 non vars killed her back then b9000 and penyihir (The build was kept top secret actually ^_^). Well I just kept continuing on trying to be the best. During the last weeks of gamma phase the devs had just released the new PVP feature Juggernaut....I was pretty much anxious to play that mode because 1v1 were getting over run by str BH's and 2v2 was totally unbalanced. On the second week when juggernaut was officially made for Non-vars too,I had to speed my way to slayer and toatlly buy the silver card(The only way to play that mode).Playing juggernaut for the first time was actually great,It was fun,More interesting And you'd get alot of credits while doing it. Ever since then I worked hard finding the right build and strategy to go against 2 opponents.

Delta phase begins.
As delta began I used to play constantly on juggernaut,Always being on the dailies boards...What I hadn't realized was that I was pretty close on the all-time and I had the most wins as a non var ATM. Within the first month of the phase I had reached all-times as the first and only non-var TM on that board...During that time everyone was TLM.I pretty much knew from then on I had accomplished something great In this game.As months went by I noticed the devs had done a balance update on the juggernaut mode Increasing the Lvl cap from 26-29 I was getting tougher than I most expected,So the next best option "Evolve or Die" .The next day I had changed into a BM for a week I constantly tried that class out trying to figure out it's strengths but it was impossible really at that moment so then I had no other choice but to change into a TLM.I kept playing that class for 4 months to be exact..It was pretty much the prefect class for the mode. When the first ever war started I decided to take part In it ,Thought why not give it a try sure it was hard ,I mean when you had to play like 8-12 hours a day just to collect enough war bombs and gem,I did benefit from this alot. After a few weeks from the war I decided to class change into a CH because it looked like a fun class....so I changed class into a ch.At first it toke some time to getting use to the class,Now i like it very much but after the war when the lvl reached 34 that's when juggernaut became more harder than I ever knew it could be,Now if you see the juggernaut dailies so you'll see players with 50%-80% (90% if your lucky enough). Now I pretty much a much play 2v2 seems interesting.
End of my story.

When I was started I was a noob, then I went 'Mainstream' and followed other people's builds, just as nooby as before, but now i was winning, I also learnt so much on how the game works more and different classes thought and operated, I know just waste credits and varium buying weapons and using them in various builds 'Testing' as it is, and seeing what can make one build go from nooby to something special, all it takes is changing skills and stats.

Long story short? I was a big noob, then was a noob, then I'm a noob trying to find a build by himself :D

When I start: I am very happy in low levels its just fun and fair.
When I now: I am very sad in high levels its not about smarts.

Midnight Santa - I feel that at higher levels there is a lot about smarts. I always calculate block percentage etc. during my first turn and then determine the best course of action every turn, based on percentages etc. It sure helps a lot with planning and you can always try to predict your opponent's moves, so that you can prepare for them ahead of time too.

I felt that during the lower levels, it's harder to maintain a high win/loss record at times because some players choose to spend their varium on enhancements, giving them the slight advantage. Also, the randomness associated with levels 1-10 makes it hard to win a fight that you should have won (i.e. criticals, health, etc.).

When I joined ED, I was a complete flop. I ruined my account, Ahl Khairahi, with retraining. When I was level 22, I had a 15% winning percentage (true PRO). I got Varium from joining early, and then my faction was formed, Power of the Deadly Sun. I am at level 31 now, with a 48% winning percentage.

I recently started a Mage account, and at level 12, I have about 81%.

My Merc has 75% 2v2 at level 17.
