Ok so a few days ago, there was a thread posted about making a new class called mechachillid, which was not a bad idea, but it was not appreciated because the skills were all copied from other classes. So I decided to make my own version of it and incorporated mostly new skills (though some may remind of the already existing ones, it’s a working progress, don’t judge me), some might be unnamed or not thought out to the smallest detail but It’s at least a start, look at it and tell me what you think. :D so since mages, hunters and mercenaries all have class specific weapons, I thought we would need to introduce new type of weapon, perhaps something like a spear. Tier 1 Skill 1: field medic__ the standard healing skill Skill 2: Mega Strike__ the skill adds to the damage of your strikes, for example at lvl 1 it could add 10% and at lvl 10 it could add 50% or so Skill 3: every class needs at least 1 shield so I recommend a phy shield as I took a look at all the classes and discovered that there are 3 energy shields and 2 phy shields (note that I am not counting passive shields as they fall under passive skills.) Tier 2 so all of the 3 original classes have 1 thing in common, they rely on a certain skill more. TM can give itself tech and take tech from enemies, Merc can give and take str and bh gives and takes dex. So the new class should be more reliant on support, as this will help revive support builds, and it’s well something new and therefore fun. Skill 1: (unnamed)___ Gives support and improves with tech Skill2: (also unnamed)___ naturally steals support, improves with dex Skill 3:Avalanche___ a physical multy (physical as 4 classes have energy multy and only 2 have phy), and I thought since the name of the class comes from the mines, it should incorporate skills of the vault, so we can use the vaults skill from when it makes the rocks from the ceiling fall. Tier 3 skill 1: an energy stealing skill, (blockable) with this skill you strike and steal a certain amount of mp from your enemy, but to prevent str abuse, which was an issue with assimilation, you do small damage no matter whats your str. For example at lvl 10 this skill can do no more than 3-5 damage but steal about 20 mp (does not add to your own mp) Skill 2: a passive that works same as deadly aim, but only instead of guns it increases the power of auxiliaries. (again trying to revive support) Skill 3: Infernal strike ___ a special attack that ignores a percentage of opponents defences and strikes with a different element. (as in if you are holding a phy weapon it does energy damage, and if energy weapon than phy damage) Tier 4 skill 1:Eruption___ all classes have an ultimate skill that does minimum 20 damage. Since the class is called mechachillid, it should be something like, making magma rise from the ground and damaging the enemy. Skill 2: all classes have 2 passives so might as well give this one a passive. So I thought it would be an energy regain passive, for each amount of damage you deal to an enemy you get a small part of it back to your mp. Skill 3: Summon___ summons a small mechachillid bug that ataches itself to the enemy and drains hp for 3 turns. Works same as poison (blockable)
