Is it just me or every battle mode is currently unplayable?

1v1: rules by str bh, and str focus BM
2v2: unfair teams, afk teammate most of the time+ rage quiters.
jugger: pretty impossible to win (for tech mages atleast) since most of them are mercs with max zerker and bunker.

any ideas about this matter?

Huh. I never do 1vs1 that much, but doesn't Intimidate do the trick?
2vs2: Yes, but we can't do anything. If you don't like it, NPC or jugg.
Jugg: I beat juggs a alot when my BM was a TM. I just simply raged Plasma Bolt, or with my support build, rage Auxiliary, which was very useful due to the fact that you get more Rage with higher Support.

EDIT: I have looked at your character page- you're a varium player, shouldn't be too hard. What kind of build do you use?

thats what im talking about, Jugg as in me Jugging lol
im basically getting demolished by them raging both same time.

Edit: Oh and the thing is, i have an energy armor, and i have been looking to get the 28k credits armor from charfade for like a month, since then everything got restocked except these which just kills it for me..

TM is almost impossible to win juggernaut unless you try quick kill 4 malf and max plasma. Id try either TLM or BH for 1v1

This is only because they want quick wins and right now that is the way that people get them with str/ quick kill builds. However they aren't unbeatable even if you go last against them. I have beaten them quite easy with my focus TM build.

You also forgot disconnects as well as fame beggars just quitting on you after/not getting fame. However, just because all of these happens doesn't mean it is unplayable. Sure you have to rely on someone else but sometimes things do happen to make them go AFK it happens to me sometimes as well, but you have to understand these things do happen and while it does stink there isn't anything we can do about it.

Oh god I remember when I was leveling up most of my partners would quit on me whenever a jug came. However because of this the staff made it easier for regular players to stand up to jugs because the masses complained about how unfair it was that they were the punching bags of full varium jugs. But at the same time most of these juggs back in the day (at least when I was leveling up) were OP tank builds. Remember there have been a lot of nerfs to classes for balance and add this on top of them making it easier for the regular players to fight jugs of course it will be harder to win.

at jugg i win 100% when its tm bh ch or bm
but just the mercs, and for some reason i always get critted by bunker and even with insanely high dex, i never block.
idk if im just a completely unlucky person in this game.

Luck has nothing to do with the game, it's percentage and chance.
If you want luck, my level 33 BM and level 34 TLM are disabled. How about not even being able to play? :P
But anyhow, back on topic. For starters, do you have the Infernal Android?

1st thing i do against mercs is defense matrix, but for some annoying reason, just as it expires, they rage.

Simple. Don't make it your first thing. Rage usually occurs after 3 turns, and if you use Def Matrix at the start, of course it will go away as they rage.

Well bunker blaster is an anti jug attack what would you except? Jugs are tanks and bunker blaster goes through defenses so of course Jugs are going to have a hard time fighting off two mercs with bunker blaster builds.

well im not doing jugg as much because it seems that low levels have gotten smarter and always use a max damaging skill.

i know, but there's no point/fun in doing jugg if they always use anti jugg builds. im a strategic person but it really is difficult to win if they have enough energy for 2 max bunker usage. or 2 max plasmabolt usage.

Not only that, but we also have people still complaining about Jug mode to the point where they want to be able to choose if they want to fight jugs or not. That would be the icing on the cake for this battle mode being destroyed.

Why? If two players are smart enough to use Jugger fighting builds, it'll make it challenging. Juggernaut battles aren't suppose to be free wins.

While I can agree it is suppose to be challenging and not free wins doing so would destroy the Jug mode. Giving them this choice no one except these anti jug builds would play jug mode. There have been many threads in the past with people complaining about Jug mode and how they want it limited/given the choice to fight jugs etc so they can have peace. However this would destroy the mode for the following reasons.

1 Jugs would get far less opponents because let's face it who would go into something willingly that they know is almost impossible to do with your own build while not knowing who your partner maybe?

2 Anyone doing this would be anti jug builds 100% of the time and two anti jug builds versus a one jug build would put the jug at an extreme disadvantage. They are already going two against one and they have to have high defenses to last these fights. Image if they were to get armor piercing opponents 100% of the time? Unless one of them or both of them got disconnected the jug would always lose.

Varium jugs even with full enhancements said it themselves that when they get two mercs with bunker builds/strength builds/ or even mages with caster builds they have a hard time fighting them and winning if they do win. Now image a non varium jug getting two fully powered anti jug opponents all the time because you give the regular players a choice in fighting jugs. If a fully powered varium player has trouble with them even when they are non varium it will be impossible for a non varium jug to play this battle mode.

Also make it challenging? getting any jug builds or even one anti jug build at random is challenging. Getting them 100% of the time because they get the choice of battling Jugs is just overkill.

@mother1 for the past few days i have only seen anti jugg builds, and trust me meeting 2 lvl 29-30 anti jugg players are overkill to the jugg.

Not to me personally, i find all the battle modes playable. Now, given some battles are a little unfairly matched but that is it be expected sometimes as it cannot be perfect.

Well its not just for now. PVP is pretty screwed due unfairness, runners, and afk.
One of my suggestions is that not only the character level should be considered to find matching duelists.
Maybe thats why alot lvl 35 play Juggernaut now (beside NPCing) and all those n00bs flame and hate them.
Most (varium) Juggs have a win rate of +85%.
I have a lvl 35 TM Jugg and my current build has a win rate of 66-70% which I think is not bad for a
non varium Jugg with pretty low enhancements (13/32).

Yeah, alot low level players have adapted. I also have problems with offensive builds that rage fast.
I think that a lvl 35 Jugg should not be able to meet lvl 30 enemies if not more factors
get considered to find other duelists.

They did that because before the lower level would run from jugs. I saw it happen a lot when I was leveling up, and the lower levels complained so the staff did that. Also give the fact that you are getting more anti jug builds it is going to be harder.

What an interesting post and it's 100% true. 1 vs 1 is impossible to play, auto pilot builds are running rampant. It's strength builds that dominate the game and simply that. 2 vs 2 is quite possibly the worst mode that I have ever played, ranging from being partnered with noobs, afk, or disconnecting players. I would rather get hit by a car and mugged in person than play that mode again. Juggernaut was quite possibly the most balanced mode out of the 3, and the Devs decided to make it impossible to play by bumping up the opponents to lv 31. If you haven't noticed, the Devs receive feedback from the same 10 people each time. You can't expect to use the forums to accurately gauge the balance of this game. It would've been easier if the Devs implemented a poll to address these issues like they did last week.

That is what happens when the players who are fighting the jugs feel like they are in a lose lose situation. I don't know how many times when I was leveling up that I had partners run away because they got pulled into a jug fight. They were thinking either way I lose so why should I even bother and quit. They didn't like this one bit so they complain about how it wasn't fair they were the punching bags of jugs, and the admins answered their call by bumping up the level to make it harder for jugs and easier for the players. It doesn't help when you get anti jug builds or strength players in pairs all the time and with the nerf to the assault bots debuffs are even more powerful.

The only thing that hasn't completely killed this mode yet is the fact that there is no button for the players to choose weather they battle jugs or not. If that is done then Jug mode will be destroyed.

@mother1 and angel yeah, seriously i just fought 4 jugg battles then, and 3 out of the 4 battles there is 3 anti jugg players and i got a loss because of it. low level players use anti jugg builds because it can benefit them in 3 battle modes, so the level range should really be decreased, fighting a lvl 30 in 1v1 with max beserk and bunker buster and plasma bolt can really get your health to half when they rage with it, jugg mode is meant to be fighting 2 1v1 battles but it is slightly easier, but now its like fighting 2 actual 1v1 battle in the same battle mode, 2 lvl 28 anti jugg build can already make the battle tough, but the DEVS decided to raise the bar up to lvl 30.
and yes strength builds and 5 focus bloodmage still dominates 1v1, you cant beat them without luck. 5 focus bloodmages have strength thats very close to a strength build and what really encourages players to use strength build is actually the support to their health that bloodlust gives.
