I love how the non varuim players won't have to spend varuim to be good and varuim and non varuim players are equal in power. But since you can upgrade your weaponds with credits and buy weaponds with credits now. Is this a smart term for the dev's money wise. I mean with the current system you run out of varuim really fast which make people buy more, but now you don't even need to spend a single dollar to be good now just save up creidts and you can be just as good as the varuim players. I mean after the Omega 10k pack, I probably won't ever again buy it because I'll just save up my credits to upgrade my items and by the time the new lvl cap is relased I'll enough credits to fully upgrade 20 items.
Long stroy short you really don't need varuim at all any more so I'm worried about the game and dev's most people will stop buying varuim and that means the dev's won't have enough money to keep the game going. This is more me worrying about the staff thread because who's gonna buy there product when they can just get it free for credits and new ability please it's not like I'll need to get a weapond just because it has a good ability, an ability is just a mini bonus feature I cna still beat anyone as long as I have a good build, so even if a cool new ability comes along it won't matter.

Arer guys concerned the dev's might not be getting enough money to support the game with the new system.

I'm just concerned if the dev's will make enough to support the game I mean u really don't need varuim now.

People who can pay with real life money to get things quickly will always by varium.

Also it should have been this way from day one. Most people only upgraded so they wouldn't be the punching bags of varium players now that will be dead and gone. Also Varium players will always have the promo advantage and certain weapon specials that non variums will never have.

I can since a lot of people originally brought varium for power advantage which the staff is taking away for the non variums to be equal.

However at the same time as I stated people who want something quick without farming will always use varium. Also I myself will use it whenever a cool promo comes that I want. But other then that no I won't do it.

I didn't spend any money on varium because items got outdated super fast, quickly becoming worthless. Worthless items, wasted varium. Some players didnt even play that much to make enough use of the items while they still were the best. Atleast now when we buy something it will last much longer.

I love the new system though it's brillant, but I'm wiorried now the dev's won't make enough money.

What the developers can do is like promised, offer non-advantageous perks that only varium can buy. Certain items that might be varium-only. Certain abilities only available with varium. If we can sell skills (extra skills to append to the skill tree) for credits or varium and some skills that only cost varium. Faction upgrades (permanent) like bonus to tokens per win or an influence farm that only cost varium. If you want to criticize these brainstorms (as I expect in ED forums), do so in Suggestions pl0x0rz.

Lol I'm not critizing though I'm just saying I'm worried about if the DEv's will make enough money tok eep the game up, haven't you read what I've posted.

If you read this carefully... wait- carefully... then, you will see that I was referencing to everything that "I" said in my last post. Also did I direct my post at you? Nooooo. This was meant for anyone who reads. And yes I did read your post about varium not having much essence once Omega starts.

No. They will make more money if they do everything right in Omega.
ALOT players quickly stopped to play ED because of the varium power gap.
Players will spend their budget now in style and other things they want to reach fast.
The money is there but will be spend on other stuff than before.

 Thylek Shran you are correct I am glad you see it I think this update is making varium players feel like this gamma all over again that to me is sad.

Well, I do think the Varium priced items will be more expensive and the Credit priced items will be very high. If you look at it in a certain manner, some people have over 500,000 Credits and so will it be fair if they take the Limited-Rare items?

 I like how credit players can be on par with varium players, but I still believe varium players should still get a +3-ish stat point advantage per equipment so that varium players won't feel totally sucked out of power.

I do believe the new system sort of increases things, hopefully meaning varium weapons still have slightly more power. The real power gap was in the enhancements, not the small starting difference.

they won't release omega like this if there will be sales breakdown on their part
i believe this is just the first step for more sales for them

but to be honest , this might be the best phase in the history of ED
because this will be the start of balance between varium players and non varium players

Just to add I myself am planning on buying bar purely for artistic weapons alot of other peOple will do the same.

Although those who want a power advantage may not buy more varium, those who want a high K/D ratio will buy varium instead of battling and gaining more uneccisary losses to upgrade their equiptment so that they are the best in which they can be, aswell as Mutating Promo's, Robots, Rare bikes and other Promo items aswell as special abilities limmited only to promotional items. ED will still have a large customer base aswell as expanding its playerbase by balancing out the game to those who may be to young, Unable to purchase varium and those who prefer to work to get to the best standard.

I also think this will be the biggest and greatest phase in the history of Epicduel as it diminishes the whole pay for power scheme that about 99% of all players hate about all games, now its pay for a time advantage and epic looking weapons and cute robots :D
