 So they've added Meteor Shower & Energy version to troll people with Thorn Assault and Jack-O-Fire (Bionic Battlegear & Harvest Weapons), right? Only because one is rare, doesn't mean others cannot exist.

While bringing rare cores back sort of cheapens the whole rare aspect, I don't really see it as a big issue. It just levels the playing field even further, which is a good thing.

Meteor/energy shower is different to bio thorns. It gives 110 % damage while Bio/harvest gives 115% damage which shows bio/harvest is better and will give you abit more damage (Which is Ok).


However

Frost shard is a unblockable damage + it give -5 energy for several times when frost destroyer blocks when using the frost skill.

This isn't fair since frost is a varium weapon and should have the better edge rather then that core (Otherwise make the frost core Unblockable).

 Here I should point out that Frostbite is also unblockable in effect, due to the new block shifts. When comparing the overall damage between a 100% Frostbite strike with a chance of an 85% negation, and a severely crippled Frost Shard unblockable attack, it is evident that Frostbite is superior. I don't know why anyone would think otherwise.

^ Is the effect slowed if Shard is deflected? If not, how is it severely crippled?

 Because it deals 85% damage and can be deflected (Shard). Whilst FrostBite deals 100% damage and can be blocked (for 15%) damage. Still, Shard will deal 42.5% damage on deflection (0.85*0.5) whilst FrostBite will deal 100% damage on connect or 15% on block.

The prevent deflection core thing is ridiculous, makes mages and cybaers Oped.

 frost shard gains 100% dmg, anywhere is written tht all cores should gain 85% dmg.
frostBite was a rlly needed moove expecially 4 bm, so i dont c why we shouldent get it 2 , expecially assumng tht frostbite became active after it went rare, so u dont wont us to have frost shard? at the same way i dont wont u 2 have an active frostbite.....

 I need 2 1 Plant Spore to finish it all, already released first 10 Purified Spores. Hope to get it done before Power Hour since I use that to play on my Lvl 24 BH to do the missions as well (much easier) + level him up a little. Perhaps buy him a 3rd core as well. :3

^ Me too. Just one more spore needed. I discovered today That it is possible to read while playing ED. Just finished Divergent, though the last spore is going all ninja on me.
