 Hiya DragonFablers!

You wanted more various threads of discussion about Classes and we listened! This week and every week following, we will be introducing a thread for every class in DragonFable.

This thread: All things Gnomish Personal Steamtank (Vr 1.0, Mk II).
Now for the rules of this thread:

  • All =AE= Comprehensive Forum Rules apply.
  • The "All Classes" thread will remain pinned to the top of the forum until all the current class threads are released.
  • There will be a Class Directory stickied to the top of the forum once a few class threads are active for quick locating.
  • On suggestions: The DragonFable staff offer specialized suggestion threads from time to time and you may post your suggestions when those events occur.
  • Please keep discussions to the GPS armors.
  • Most important: Have fun!

    		Because of its great blind skill and healing, this armor will have hardly any problems facing even the toughest 1v1 bosses (with no Bonus that is). But that's really the best this armor is for since it lacks burst damage skills to be efficient at farming of any kind. The armor is even worse against multiple enemies considering its multi-attacks are a 100% strike with a 5 turn cool-down and a self-destruct dealing measly 120% damage to all enemies.

    The GPS is a situational armor being very good at what it is good at, and not that great in everything else.

    		i kind of hate this armor. it is in need of a SERIOUS buff, like even a few changed skills

    		The GPS was great armor when it first came out as I used it with my lower classes, now as it has been said a rebuff is in great need.

    		Unfortunately never had the chance to try it out, but it seems to be an interesting class. Not the most aesthetically pleasing armor though, in my opinion.

    You know a buff is needed when a tank is weaker than a chicken.

    		^While the tank easily outmatches the chicken in terms of durability and hardiness in almost any combat situation, it's true that the chicken just trashes the tank's damage dealing capabilities.
    But then that's Dragonfable for you. :P

    		 This class is actually quite underrated. While it doesn't have much going for it offensively, its strong, loopable blind is pretty amazing if you like playing defense. Combine it with the Not-So-Tiny Bubbles trinket and you won't be going down very easily.

    		The real question - is anyone actually using it? I feel like it needs revamping. There's simply nothing that works in its favor rn.

    		 @TFS yep, Dante’s also mentioned that GPS faces the same problem that V1 faced in that it doesn’t have a lot of good skills, but the ones it does have that are actually good make it a fun class to play.

    Then again as far as “joke” classes go I’d still choose ChickenCow becuase I find it a much better class to use in general.

    		I agree with TFS, the defenses are very good to have. I actually need to finish training it because it's worth it and suits me well.

    		 Well yeah, but you don't need to train any class. Technically you don't need to train soulweaver, unless you want to use a skill other than default attack (though honestly, why would you?). Same for any class, really.

    But... but you do. What was the point of making this comment if it contradicts itself? You don’t need to train a class to use it, but you do to use it efficiently, as you yourself said.

    		Although Augahim isn't one of the hardest challenge bosses I managed to beat him without food or extra potions with GPS. As said in this thread it does quite well in 1v1 fights
