 Welcome to the L&L forum contest "Here's How We Roll" discussion thread. The object of this contest, whether you are entering as a writer or a visual artist, is to create a story or piece of artwork that uses the elements given to you. The writers will be required to use all 9. PyroPuppy will choose the 5 elements the visual artists are required to use. You will have a month to create this magic. At the end of the month, a poll will be put up and all the stories and visual arts will be put in one thread for voting. The readers and viewers will be able to vote on the best entry. While you are doing that, the L&L staff will be busy making our own observations.

 I would've participated if the deadline was 24th but seeing as my exams last till 24th, I don't think I'll be able to make it.

I actually had a fanfiction concept planned out and 3 pages doesn't take that long.

 Aww be more positively charged people, Electro-mancy is not my thing so can't quite help there :p. Something just clicked in the back of my head the moment I read through the artists list and I half wanted to make an adventure game right on the spot out of it. Otherwise count me motivated and ready to duck, tuck, and roll!

Just posted my entry. I'm really happy with the way it came out, as I said before something just clicked with me. Hoping there will be more contests like this one in the future, it was a lot of fun.

@Therries and DaiTigris, I can clearly see the visual elements in both of your piece. The composition is well done too. I just submitted mine albeit I am not too happy with it.

 Crazy Grinder III, actually I really liked your submission. It's pretty clever and has a simple but intriguing design that sets it apart from the rest. Also, thanks for the feedback. I was a bit worried I might have overdone some of the composition in my submission a tad bit with some of the more contrasting elements and lighting.

 Because there were few entries, and we were so very late, we made the choice, just so people can know we mean it when we say winners get recognition. The next round WILL have a poll for voting.

 Ah. I knew something had slipped my mind.
Kind of cool to sport a title again for a while.
Round two elements seem quite fun as well.
Using all nine this time too, as it appeared
to have been alright in the previous round.
Hoping that a lot more entries get submitted
in this round. The contest has feelings too
and it's feeling lonely as it has been 'til now.

 Found some time to work on an entry for the next round . Even though it does have a pretty simplistic piece and direct interpenetration of the given elements I'm pretty happy with it as a whole. Can't wait to see what other last minute entries may roll on in, I would enjoy seeing how others used the given elements in their entries.
