12000 Z-Token Package - Glass Cannon Pet:
This cute little golem is stronger than normal pets, but it's so fragile that shards from it cause monster attacks to hit you a bit harder than they normally would! It will use powerful Earth or Light attacks, whichever damages your enemy more!

This month we have added 4 amazing prizes to the Golden Giftboxes! A specially bred Energy version of the Hippocampus, this aquatic steed is a powerful offensive armor. Arcane Cutlasess are wielded by more magically adept pirates and amplify the power of your Wind or Water spells! The Dark Mimic Pet does not only mimic treasure chests, but also mimics your foe and attacks with their elements. This version and the original Ravenous Mimic are also being updated to include an extra powerful attack if you feed them your gold!

Man, the staff are going all out on items this week. Alt-element Arcane Cutlasses, the return of glass cannon pet, a gold-paid boost to mimic pet (which becomes a lot more useful with PCO)...

Edit: Even Z-Finity Gauntlets are making a return!

Hoisting a massive bow? Are we getting that melee ballista we were joking about a while back?

Speaking of Z-finity Gauntlets, could we get a Chadwick Boseman (

) memorial item?

Regardless, I'm loving all the returning items. These are all fantastic items that are the best at whatever they do.

Dear Hollow,

Would it be possible to consider to re-release the Arcane Cutlass of Combustion (Fire) & Arcane Cutlass of Radiance (Light)?

Why not since the -mancer's Bloodblades also have been re-released.

This can help the new future players, new AQ game Accounts/Characters and people who for some reason missed them.

Can they stay like the -mancer's Bloodblades & -mancer Bloodmages or return in GGBs during Talk Like a Pirate Day Event?

I am assuming the Mimic has elemental compensation? Attacking with an enemy element does not sound practical.

I also think Arcane Cutlass of Combustion (Fire) and Arcane Cutlass of Radiance (Light one) should return in GGBs as well because i think they are as important as Bloodzerker/Bloodblades for a Mage in particular as the focus is casting spells a core ability.

Warriors could get some love too by returning the Taxing Cutlass for a short time as a way to regenerate their SP with their attacks.

There is a popular demand for cutlasses as some have missed them when they were on GGBs since it was only a short time.

It does! The EleComp isn't super high though, so in most cases you'll want to try scrambling the monster's resistances before using that mode.

I second this. It's a good time to play Mage/Warrior characters with all the Bloodmage/Bloodzerker equipment that's returned, and the Bards of War are pretty much the equivalent for Beastmaster characters. Frostval would be a decent time for them to come back around, as the ones that weren't advertised as going perma-rare (Jolly Bard of War and Festive Bard of War) both fit the holiday theme.

On a different note, will we be notified before the Zfinity Gauntlets/Pyre Rat Contract leave the Limited-Time Shop? It's a bit hard to guess when some items are leaving, given the July 4th equipment is still there.

Players were asking for a massive bow that used lances for ammo, so Wyrm took the pirate theme and created a massive bow that shoots harpoons and anchors!

I will bring back the following 3 items for a limited time, and the originals will be tag'd as Legendary:

Arcane Cutlass of Combustion

Errrr...how do you feed the Mimic gold tho? I tried it and it only switches between Water and the monster element as it did before.

There has been a change to the mimic pet plans since the original Ravenous Mimic already has the MC effect of element mimicking. The new dark version will not seek and instead have the option to feed it gold to do a stronger attack. The original Ravenous Mimic will remain unchanged.

Rhubzard has once again taken over The Void!

So it got changed from seeking + gold boost to just gold boost? I don't really see a reason for this but *shrug*.

This is what newsletter said and basically the gold cost should be strictly an inclusion on top of element seeking if i read it correctly. Its just strange that it became a problem just about now considering the newsletter release nothing else really.
