Worth the wait! spoiler:
This quest has some great establishing moments for secondary characters. Kord reminds us of the slayers in dragonslayers, that not all are content with the new direction Galanoth is taking them - and he does so without sounding xenophobic or fanatical. Lestrade has two notable moments. One is when he pushes Kord out of the spike's way even at the expense of personal injury. A quiet moment of bravery and self-sacrifice that remains uncommented on but not unnoticed. The second is when his companions suggested going down into the mycelium. It's not something we normally remark on, something we've grown used to, but actually thinking on it... Compounding risk with risk, taking a leap into the dark, casually believing yourself capable of taking anything the world throws at you - it's absolutely crazy! No general, no career soldier would do something insane like that, which makes the contrast all the more jarring. It's easy to forget sometimes that our hero is just that, a hero, and massive kudos to the staff for managing to write that juxtaposition so well. Oh, and the way the music suddenly changes when you start the dragon fight caught me off guard in a good way. Nice work there.
