Location: Falconreach Guardian Tower (Books 1 and 2) -> 3 Left -> Trainer Eckhard -> (Guardian Armor ->) Train! -> Quest!
Requirements: Exactly 12 Guardian class skills unlocked
Release Date: April 13th, 2007
Objective: As you near the end of your Guardian training, Guardian Trainer Eckhard has asked you to pass the test of might by defeating Dragonmaster Frostscythe on his own turf.
Objective completed: The icy power of the dragonmaster was no match for your might. Return to Guardian Trainer Eckhard to unlock your next Guardian ability.

<Character>: WOW it's cold out here. So where is this guy anyway?
<Character>: HEY DRAGONMASTER FROSTSCYTHE... crawl out of your ice cave and face me!
*Frostscythe approaches you.*
<Character>: ... yikes... I forgot how big you were.
Frostscythe: FOOL!! YOU dare come here, to my own realm and face me??!
<Character>: Well since you're SCARED to come back to Falconreach, you didn't leave me a lot of choices.
Frostscythe: Are you calling me a coward!? You will pay for this insult!
<Character>: Hey, I don't want to tell you how to live your life, but yelling in THAT helmet could cause some permenant hearing loss.
Frostscythe: WHAT?!
<Character>: See? it's already happening.
Frostscythe: If YOU are the best that the GUARDIANS have to offer, perhaps it is time to go back and conquer that tower once and for all.
<Character>: Eckhard was right, you ARE still a threat to Falconreach... Ok, your plans stop here Frostscythe!
Frostscythe: Glaisaurus, I command you to my side!
Boss Fight!
Battle! - begins battle with Dragonmaster Frostscythe and Glaisaurus.
Extreme Mode - begins battle with Dragonmaster Frostscythe and Glaisaurus.
Note: Extreme mode (New!) is blatantly impossible and exists purely for bragging rights on the forums.
*After the battle, Frostscythe wails after another loss, as your HP and MP are replenished.*
Frostscythe: Defeated? How is this possible? YOU BROKE MY DRAGON NEW AMULET! Without it Glaisaurus is useless to me!
<Character>: Wait a minute... Glaisaurus? I thought that Glaisaurus lost its head last time.
Frostscythe: It did. But what sort of Dragonmaster only has ONE dragon?
<Character>: You mean that you've got more then one Ice Dragon?
Frostscythe: Of course, I have a small army of Ice Dragons in training! But thanks to you I will not be able to speak with them...
Frostscythe: ...Until I find a third Dragom Amulet. Then, there will be nothing that you or the Guardians can do to stop me!
*Frostscythe runs away.*
<Character>: We'll see about that Dragonmaster Frostscythe...
<Character>: ...next time.

Completion of this quest will unlock the 13th Guardian class skill; this quest may only be completed once.
This quest acts as the Books 1 and 2 version of The Torched Dragontamer.
