Actually, I think that's the lyrics of an actual song by them. I heard it on the radio not so long ago. That song is Come Together.

That sentences are indeed the ending of "Come Together", by The Beatles. And I guess they are the key to solving the puzzle, but I'm stuck. I've been trying to take the results of the square roots and sum them in groups of three (for the "one and one and one is three" part), but it has led me nowhere.

Eldron said that one and one and one and one is four would be more appropriate.
So I think the key is to organise them in groups of four or something like that.

Nickeh: Nope. 19 can't be rooted perfectly (assuming you meant "rooted perfecty," not "squared perfectly." All integers can be squared perfectly.)

I have to go, since I'm on my mother's ancient computer that can't use IRC and is ridiculously slow, but before my laptop shut down I tried removing every fourth letter. I got this:

I tried rooting where applicable and adding digits where not, and got gibberish.

Two things I do notice, though: "40 4 19" appears twice in a row in the second line. Also, the last digit in each line was one of the removed ones (it was a fourth number).

Yes, but in the other puzzles Eldron's and Falerin's clues have never been ment to be taken literally (they gave us some keys, but only if you didn't do exactly what they said), so I would be cautious with the importance of number 4.

Untrue. In Eldron's first puzzle, he said "Eliminate Falerin... eliminate Admiral Amada... eliminate Zorbak" quite clearly, if not so succinctly.

That's what I meant: he told us to discard them as authors of the message, which was misleading if taken literally. We had to eliminate them, but not in the way he told us.

Mm. Perhaps we do have to work with 1+1+1=3 rather than 1+1+1+1=4. Or maybe 12 has something to do with it, as it is the LCM of 3 and 4.

I tried my idea and got
