Linky

Aaronrules380 -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:33:49)

found xilar as well now

Coldkick -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:42:46)

I searched Commonality and I got this Wiki article about an alien race,
Taelon Commonality
Taelon Race
They all have apostrophes in their names too.

Also in their natural form they look like that very important npc in this pic, just brighter. NPC Pic

wolfmansbro -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:46:55)

i took what words we had found in #1 and read the letters from left to right heres what i got.

rbeeavandarcadrnaaommfaprraalwpra'mithiahxav'eldden

mabey were missing words,it needs spaces, or im just pure wrong.

Nex del Vida -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:47:17)

Hm, interesting. "The Commonality" is a kind of hive-mind, something I can see the Viren having.

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:49:30)

From this:

rbeeavandarcadrnaaommfaprraalwpra'mithiahxav'eldden

You could find:

rbeeavandarcadrnaaommfaprraalwpra'mithiahxav'eldden

Coldkick -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:50:20)

you can also find v'eld

rbeeavandarcadrnaaommfaprraalwpra'mithiahxav'eldden

Cod Cod Lord of Mysteries -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:51:16)

and pra'mithia! I see it!
Nevermind. ArchMagus spotted it before me.

wolfmansbro -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:54:44)

so does kuld have a chart for the second?

Coldkick -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:55:45)

I could make one I guess if Kuld doesn't beat me xD

wolfmansbro -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:56:48)

sweet. can you bold words on the list and leave plain random letters? ive got it from there. but i may be at a dead end here sorry...

Aaronrules380 -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:57:45)

I'd like to point out he was just looking at what we got and then putting it through horizontally on the thing. Since pra'mithia and vandar are horizontal words on the puzzle, they'd naturally be inthere it doesn't show anything

Denolth -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:58:09)

I have a chart made on Excel, right here.
Tough, it doesn't have what we found, since I've made it as soon as I saw the puzzle Falerin posted.
And Aaron is right, guys xD

wolfmansbro -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 18:59:41)

as an experiment i completly eliminated horizontal words.

rbeeacadrnaommfaprraalwhxaden

nothing huh? i see bee and den but were do they get us? i must be wrong then.

Coldkick -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 19:22:48)

I'm adding all of the found words now only problem is I have to find them first :P

damselindigital -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 19:27:48)

Good day, Cryptonauts.

I have received a particular message from Falerin, which I feel is likely wise to share with you.

quote:

Shayril,
Please forward this message unto those seeking to solve the most recent puzzle. I am afraid my transcription system remains nonfunctional. Worse my black ink chamber is running low and the resultant image has been rendered using the color tank. The computer assures me it is a monoalphabetic substitution not that I can see how.
-The LoreMaster

What then followed was this particular attachment. I can make neither heads nor tails of it, but I do have a sense that deciphering it might aid you with the three.

Good luck to you all.

~Shayril Staton

Coldkick -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 19:30:56)

OK so we get an interesting multi colored chart with the same amount of spots on it as the amount of letter s in the word searches
any ideas?

whoops nvm it is a different amount now im totally lost

OK there is only 1 brown colored box.

Denolth -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 19:38:31)

I get a "404 page not found" when I go to the link =[
EDIT: Nevermind, thank you damselindigital ^^

Aaronrules380 -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 19:43:16)

I don't think the colors are important based off the message

damselindigital -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 19:43:35)

link altered. Not sure why there were some issues but it should work now for everyone.

frogboy52295 -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 19:46:32)

y r the loremaster into kitties XD

anyway on topic i hope we solve this soon! these help past time till july 3 omg 1 more month

Nex del Vida -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 19:56:27)

Ah.

We must color the second word search accordingly. All the squares of a given color will likely give a message.
I can't do this--I'm cramming for finals--but you guys should try it.

Gundisalvus -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Unfolds! (6/3/2009 19:59:13)

@Nex:Falerin's message implies that he didn't originally intend for there to be any color. He said the only reason it is in color is because he ran low on black ink.
