Dragonnightwolf -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 18:05:11)

all right. Thanks goes to mr. Aaron, for narrowing down the list for me to find the "Key" ingredient.

The answer says.

"There is more between the puzzles than a grid, Key in on it."

im back and i see progress! (and not in the pirate war either. not like ninjas dont rule anyway but pirates are better than peasants.)

I'm thinking that maybe we should try typing these things out so for the first puzzle I got

Really sorry for asking, but which was this mistery? The one that could be solved with the leader's name as a key? Or the 3x3 grid one?

kirbymaster2 -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 19:01:46)

@ Dudu
The colored 3x3 grid one.

Denolth -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 19:16:27)

Thank you very much ^^ I'm going to take a look at the crossword again, but I'm sure I won't find anything T_T

Traveler -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 19:52:12)

@Gundisalvus: are you from Galicia??? I'm from Asturias!!!

(Sorry for the off-topicness, but finding another Spanish person here in the forums is always surprising, even more if both of us are from regions in the northern coast).

I'm afraid I got completely lost somewhere after the second puzzle. I'll see if after dinner I can get back on track and check all the pieces you've all solved.

vegerot21 -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 19:57:43)

Somebody help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How can you play the game when i type in warpforce.com it just sends me to Battleon.com!!!!!!!!!!! I also missed the Beta for AQWorlds because of this same thing please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:@]![:(][:(]!!!!!

Scakk -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 20:08:52)

Lkeas -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 20:33:30)

spoiler:

Alright, we found the name of the Virin leader, it's "Jarik Z'kaa." It was present in both grids. You can see it here:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=rz2PAZw3UqxvnFb0vsAc3LA&single=true&gid=0&output=html

But how do we use this? The Vigenere cipher method isn't working so far [&:]

Cod Cod Lord of Mysteries -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 20:53:41)

Hmm... Have you guys gotten any further since yesterday?

Randomnity -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 20:58:23)

We've highlighted most of the words. And Fal mentioned cheese alot.

Lkeas -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 21:39:57)

spoiler:

Here's what I've got using "jarikzkaa" as the key in a Vigenere cipher, just looks like gibberish so far.

DIW FLRA GPBD WBSAW MGKM D KPNP BURUZN XIRI UYGLQ PA F UBBD ZB - ciphertext
jar ikzk aaja rikzk aaja r ikzk aajari kzka ajari kz k aaja ri - keytext
uif xbsq gpsd ftibm mgbm m cfof buiuif njhi upgui fb v ubsd st - plaintext??

Lord Asrius -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 22:14:51)

I get home from school to see that Fal said I was right. A good way to end a workday, yes? :D
Also, I'm looking at the puzzle now, will update when I find something.

WA -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 22:25:18)

Jarikzkaa has these anagrams including obscure english:
Karaka Jiz
A Kazi Jark
Kaka Ar Jiz
Arak Ka Jiz
Kara Ka Jiz
Kai Jark Za
Kaki Jar Za
Kaki Raj Za
Raki Jak Za
Raik Jak Za
Kazi Jak Ar
Kazi Jar Ka
Kazi Raj Ka
Izar Jak Ka
Riza Jak Ka
Zari Jak Ka
A Jak Ka Riz
A Jak Za Kir
A Jak Za Irk
A Ka Ark Jiz
Jak Ark Za I
Jark Ka Za I
Ka Ka Ar Jiz

Lord Asrius -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 22:30:56)

Ka ka ar jiz sounds like the sound of us getting mad at this.

Lkeas -> RE: =WF= A Mystery Continues (6/4/2009 22:44:39)

I have to wonder about this tidbit:

quote:

Beware irrelevancies as they may distract here.

Is this important? Are there irrelevant parts of the cipher? How do we know what they are, if any?

Solved by inputing the key into this website:
