Then when both my 1st and 2nd get to level 10 I'll start my Tertiary.

And maybe the fourth and fifth.

It's okay so far, but there are a few things I don't like.

1. "Excalibur" appearance. Weapons looks way to crazy for the very first things in the game. The starter weapons are fine, but some of the stuff you buy is way overdone. Like the gauntlets. they look like part of an Uber set in AQ, even though they are basic weapons. And the Hull Scuffer. Not only does have a pointless and "awesome" appearance, but the special involves it shooting high power water jets.
This is too much. Weapons shouldn't look special and magic. They should look normal with scientific attachments. For example. A sword with a steam pump system heats it's blade, thus dealing fire damage. In the special, the sword would overheat the blade and deal double damage for the next two turns, though skipping that turn.

2. Graphics. Though it is in Beta, so I can't really complain, if you click "Battle monsters", many of the backgrounds are from AdventureQuest V.1 and back. They should at lease use some of the newer backgrounds. Also, some of the enemies, though not many, have worse graphics than the others. This should be fixed soon.

3. "Battle Monsters" Logic. When you click "Battle Monsters", you transport to a random planet and fight native or invading creatures. I find this illogical, as even as a member of the Warpforce, interplanetary transportation shouldn't be short term like that, and it should always be part of the main plot. Small "trips" like that take from the story. I think that "Battle monsters" should only take place on Lore, it's moon, and surrounding asteroids for the time being, since those are the nearest spacial bodies.
Later, when we visit other planets. "Battle Monsters" will be limited to the planet you are on, and nearby spacial bodies.
When simply floating in space, away from most planets, "Battle Monsters" will take placeon asteroids, the ship itself, and possibly floating in outer space (In this case, leg animations should be changed. I don't want to see my character walking through space. Floating is obviously more logical.

I agree wholeheartedly with Jammin's "there are a few things I don't like" post. Also, why is it that the Elf and Human faces look so... UGLY?!

I like the male faces, personally, but the female faces could use a bit of work. They look kind've... mannish. :p

Yeah, I made a female character as my second one, just for kicks (got to ten on my first this morning) and was... kind of disturbed.

This is a sci-fi/fantasy hybrid setting, not steampunk.

Calitha has reached Lv.10! The only item she needs now is the Osprey 10-something from Temura's shop (the Lv.8 one), but it's 500 gold, and it's hard to farm gold efficiently right now. I'll have to settle for the weaker Lv.9 version until I can collect the necessary funds. Meh, well, scratch that. The lower-level versions of the Osprey weapons are now light-element, with the best one for non-WG/ZT being the Osprey-10B. Hey, at least it gives me a good light weapon, the Bisecting IMP is honestly quite pathetic.

For a beta, its very well made, only glitches I've noticed are things like:

My head vanishing when I changed faces at Tronzor's face changer shop,
Your head being separated from its body during the intro sequence, and that's all I've seen.

Still, the female character models don't look quite as nice as they did in AQ, like someone said, they have a mannish look to then, and a very square jaw.

Now that I've taken a closer look, why do most of the character models have an incredibly serious expression on their faces?

Just wondering, when you go into the Guardian Tower and talk to the lady when you ask
"Can you tell me about yourself?"
Does it just go to a black screen and not change from that, forcing you to click the back button.
I really want to get to the shop from that part as I have two level10s and about to get my third.

I completely agree with the females looking so...brute-ish.
To be honest they need to change the females faces to look alot more like Temura cause currently she looks like the only real female in this beta
Really disappointed me when I saw them. Lets hope AE changes that by the end of the beta.

Guess can't really expect it to be perfect as its only a beta test.

@Zeltrax: The staff has said (for AQ) that all of our characters have been given a serious amount of botox, so their expression won't change...
Guess they had a serious expression when given their botox shot... :P

wow this game is so adicting.... the only times i took a break was to go see ice age 3, and sleep...

well and make the guide in my sig, but i count that as playing still.

As in AdventureQuest, you need to use Pets and Guests to attack him. They have a 100% chance to hit him and have increased damage.

Actually the "level 8 Osprey gun"
costs Z-tokens, not 500 gold.
Also, its the level 10 gun now.
But so far the level 9 Osprey gun, Osprey 10B
is the best light weapon. XD
