ask13 -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 18:38:47)

Thats not really a bad build for a striker. A tad high on the endurance for now (lower levels) but not relly bad. the strength is good and dex is good for both blocking and hitting more. Not that bad really

doc a doc -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 18:45:18)

How do I beat the Save the Queen minigame?

Lectrix -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 18:47:05)

I got three warp crystals, but I'm not advancing in the quest. How do I get off the shattered worlds?

erogath -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 18:51:36)

I've been wondering this myself doc, anyone have a solution? as far as i can tell that uniforce doesnt follow and just stays on the bottom level

ask13 -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 19:18:06)

3 of the quests are bugged and the only one you can finish is the Spy one from the Warpguardian tower, all of the others are immpossible to beat. So you can't beat it yet

Aelthai -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 22:29:17)

Eternal Darkness and Save the Queen have been fixed. If you are not seeing the fixed version - you may need to clear your cache.

turnoverman -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 23:32:06)

since the cutscenes in this take so long (not exactly a complaint) and I don't want to replay every quest just to find this out, are there any darkness weapons other than the dimmed beam staff, and are there any light weapons stronger than the osprey series

if the answer is "yes" to either of those two

where can (darkness weapon other than dimmed beam staff/light weapon > osprey series) be found?

and

what level are (what I said in the last question in parenthesis)?

EDIT: oh yea, I'm a WG (and my char page is my AQ link below my posts :D)

mluther -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 23:34:27)

If you have trained str then you can get a tronzor's weapons but you must be a WG to access them.

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 23:39:40)

The levels for the Dual Blades are: 10 / 25 / 25 / 45 / 65. All of them are Guardian only, and one of the level 25 version is Token only. As for Darkness weapons, the Dimmed Staff is the only one so far.

mluther -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 23:41:39)

there will probably be a darkness gun in the next update to fill gaps, but only the staff can know.

turnoverman -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 23:46:03)

how do you get the dual blades, are they the reward from the spy quest?

EDIT: I would post in thanks for the answer two posts down, but that would be a waste of a post, so... I'm editing in my thanks (this thanks also reaches out to the answers above this one as well)

Bomber of Justice -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 23:48:53)

Whoa, I just did the alien guy's (in the room Zorboz is in) level 5 quest and faced a level 21 and a level 19 even though I'm a level 10 non-warpguardian...my question is, will I still face the level 19 and 21 enemies if I get to level 15 or will they be an even higher level? I am just wondering since sometimes I get both the enemies in a row and it's making it tough for me to complete the quest since I don't have the greatest luck with rolls. [>:]

EDIT: Ok nevermind, I think the enemies will stay that way to level 15. Plus the quest is bugged so I can't really ask questions about it yet.

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 23:50:36)

@turnoverman: Yup. The quest itself is from the WG Tower

turnoverman -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/13/2009 23:59:59)

sorry for the overload of questions (yea I realize now that the edited in thanks could have gone in this one, but I didn't think about this question till after I did that (I fought an enemy weak against wind))

Is there a wind weapon other than the breezy beam lance?

if so where is (enter wind weapon other than breezy beam lance here) located

and after that is answered

what level(s)?

EDIT: more edited in thanks

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 0:01:29)

No, its the only one so far.

mluther -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 0:01:56)

Your welcome. Currently there is no other wind weapon, but just like darkness, there will likely be one in the next update to fill in gaps, but only the staff can know.

ShadowSpawn -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 0:20:14)

Will the stat cap be the same for WF as it is for AQ in the future? (That is after Warp Guardians can go past Lv40 = 200 Total points)
Since it's the same game engine, I am speculating it is. Any confirmation?

upgradefire -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 0:40:09)

how long do i have to do the warp crystal quest

SoulWing -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 0:43:18)

Best farming spot?

turnoverman -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 1:17:11)

shadow: we don't know
upgrade: its bugged, in other words, forever
soulwing: battle button, no extremely long cutscenes (or you could do the never ending quest that upgrade is doing (small laugh))

EDIT: by "we don't know" I mean only the staff knows, they could make the stat cap be over nine thousand for all we know, since they will be increasing the level cap monthly they will probably have to make the stat cap slightly higher, but who knows, they could have the stat cap be lower, IT IS ALL THE STAFF, THE STAFF KNOWS ALL!
EDIT2: by THE STAFF KNOWS ALL! I mean that they are the only people that can know that, not that they know everything to ever exist

Alopex Lagopus -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 5:32:23)

I feel shame, but I need information :)

My character is a WG Tracker, with 50STR and 50DEX (the other 50 is on END). I know, I was stupid to train END to 50 right no, but nu untrain, so I stick with it.
I want to know, with normal attack, what will damage more, with my WG armor?
A Gun type weapon (with a bit more damage), or a melee type weapon (with a little less damage)?
I know, WF uses a bit difference stat bonuses as AQ do, but I think, I miss somethings out. I heard, guns aren't get any stat bonus from DEX. So, in this case, the less damageing melee weapon would be better then a more damageing gun.

Z3R0 -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 5:53:28)

How can you get storage slots? I saw someone with them

ShadowSpawn -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 8:46:42)

Alopex:
WarpForce uses EXACT same stat formulaes as AdventureQuest. However, some weapon stats differ.
For one, Guns do not get increased damage from STR and DEX in WF, opposed to bows and spears that do in AQ.

Heres a quick list how things work:
Melee attacks (Weapons/Armor) - STR for damage and Bth. DEX and LUK give Bth also. LUK grants more damage on Lucky Strikes. (Fixed 10% rate)
Ranged attacks (Guns/Gauntlets/Armor mounted Guns&Cannons) - DEX and LUk give Bth, and LUK grants more damage on Lucky Strikes Shots. (Fixed 10% rate)
Ranged Attacks (Spears/Throwing/Other physical action) - STR&DEX for damage. DEX and LUK give Bth also. LUK grants more damage on Lucky Strikes. (Fixed 10% rate)
Magic Attacks (Such as Uniforce or other Magic/Kinetic/Psychic abilities) - INT for damage and Bth. DEX and LUK give Bth also. LUK grants more damage on Lucky Strikes. (Fixed 10% rate)
Skills&Techs (Various attack types) - ALWAYS use INT for damage and Bth. DEX and LUK give Bth also. LUK grants more damage on Lucky Strikes. (Fixed 10% rate)

Basic builds:
Pure Gunner (Gun attacks only) - DEX&LUK, some END. - Very accurate and high blocking.
Pure Warrior (Melee) - STR&DEX, some END. - Strong melee hits and decent blocking.
Pure Scientist (Techs) - INT&DEX, some END. - Techs and Magic hit hard, decent blocking.
Anhillator Warrior (Melee) - STR&DEX, LUK instead of END. - Very accurate and strong melee, but low HP.
Anhillator Scientist (Techs) - INT&DEX, LUK instead of END. - Very accurate and strong Techs and Magic, but low HP.
Anhillator Gunner (Guns/Pets?) - DEX/LUK, CHA instead of END. - Very accurate and strong Guns and pets/guests, but low HP.

NOTE: All builds are able Gun users, but have lower accuracy/damage with them than Gunners due to less LUK and probobly DEX.
NOTE 2: Anhillator builds however share about the same gun profiency, but specialise on a second attack option that the other Anhillators do. And have weak HP.
NOTE 3: Anhillator Gunners are not the equaliant of Beast Masters in AQ, as CHA isn't their main stat. Also WF doesn't have strong pets yet, however an Anhillator Gunner with their points dumped to CHA instead of END get more hits and damage out of their pets than others.

Z3R0:
Go to any shop, open your inventory and select Extra slots/storage. Each extra storage slot costs 200 Z-Tokens and only apply to the item category you buy them. (So no Armros or Techs in your extra Weapon storage. Just like AQ)

Typo -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 9:12:23)

Is it just me or are the female characters pretty masculine looking as far as physical build?

-Typo

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Official Release Q&A Thread (8/14/2009 10:52:28)

In AQ and WF, the only difference between male and female is the haircut; the armors look exactly the same for both.
