Is there a chance, no matter how small, that WarpGuardian Characters will get the chance to change out their default base class/weapon?

I've recently realized that ranged weapons here are very different from the ones AQ, and I would like the chance to try to play as this unique build.

I understand if that cannot be implemented though.

There is a chance, but I would consider it small at this time. I recommend creating another character to see the other setup - at least, if you have trained any STR.

Yes, it is bug abuse; under the circumstances, however, I doubt that there will be any repurcussions for doing so.

*edit* Gunner/Striker wouldn't be a great idea because the Guns would do less damage than Melee weapons. However, a Striker/Engineer hybrid would be essentially what is called a hybrid in AQ - Melee weapons and Skills/Techs.

What would be a good WG Striker build? I already have STR 50 and DEX 50, and I'm leaning towards LUK 50 in the next 10 levels. Or would END 50 be better?

Any suggestions?

Well at least put 5 in Luck so you have a small chance of Lucky Strikes.
And END is Good so I would do 45 END and 5 LUK

At this point I don't think you need that much End. Put more in luck, I would do a 25/25 split in luck and End (possibly even less End)

Ok thanks for the input BlueDude and ask13. LUK 5 is pretty useless, sure I get the 10% lucky strikes but an increase in 2.5 damage is almost negligible.

I'm thinking END 50 because it's a standard in all non-tank non-annihilator AQ builds, but I'm gonna go with LUK 50 instead and untrain later if I'm not gonna like it(assuming the Untrainer gets put in).

Is the New WF Saga quest suppose to freeze when you get all questions right? I got the questions right, Then it froze. I refreshed the page, and Cleared My Cache, but it stays Frozen.

Technically using the Nanotech isn't "bug abusing" per say, because it's not accually harming anything. I would call it a sort of 'commensal leaching'. Just felt I had to point that out.

Anyhow, onto my question. Can anyone tell me what the "Guardian Level Bonus" to items is? I know in AQ it is 3 levels, but here it seems more like 7.

It depends on the level (both in AQ and I would assume here) the low level the higher the boost (I think). The WarpTrooper IIW has almost the same defenses as the Warp Trooper III which is 12 levels above it (the WTIII has a couple of elements that are -1 and some are -2 from the WTIIW but they are really close)

Edit: Must be a bit blind as WTIII also hs +1 to all defenses... Ok so they still are rather close...

Yes, it is bug abuse. It is taking advantage of a bug.

Depending on level, the Guardian bonus is between 10 (Level 0G = Level 10) and 3 levels.

For the Heavy Gunner suit, the ability "force field," It says it protects for x of turns, but it goes away after the next turn it activates. So, my question is: What purpose does it really have and is it just there for effect?

I'm going for a Striker build, but I fear I may have messed it up. I have 30 Strength, 35 Dexterity, 30 Endurance, and 5 Luck.

Is there any chance I can fix this, or should I untrain stats when the opportunity arises and start over?
