I wish I had been there for the Carnax war,
Defeating Akriloth was quite a bore,
I miss all the Mogloween's past,
And the truly fun Frostval Last.
Wooly Thoctar, it made me snore,
It's a shame I missed the Frost King wars.
The signs I wish that I had bought,
Ah, remembering pain I've wrought,
On violent monsters that I've fought
But It's not over, no it's not,
There's still so many monsters to be fought.

Trash Talker -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (4/5/2011 0:56:44)

^ Isn't that an acrostic poem?

Anyways, I remember when I bought the Fire Blade at somethin' like level 5. I was like, OMG! The special attack is so sick (awesome).

blazeheart97 -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (4/5/2011 20:03:28)

I have no idea what that means [:D]

Ubear -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (4/5/2011 20:19:20)

idiawithaobt? How's that acrostic? Lol

axbxcxdx -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (4/6/2011 11:45:47)

i remember back then when i used to press spacebar when i attack/defend during battles.. i thought it helped in hitting and blocking.. haha

Tsuki Ouji -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (4/22/2011 18:38:58)

I miss being able to play quests that were vital to the story (Seriously, why can't we do the carnax quests anymore? When did that happen?!?!?!). I miss when Werepyre form turned you into a living god, and when there were NOT werepyre enemies that were ridiculously strong and could do stuff that PC WPs can't...

OHOHOHOH!!!! Most of all, I miss the days when AE made references that only the nerds understood...

Oynqr bs Njr!!!

Bonus cookies if you know what that says.

Groundonrage -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (4/23/2011 9:39:50)

I remember when getting Z-Tokens was actually easy =/

Trash Talker -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (5/19/2011 2:57:24)

@above: Meh, same here. I remember in 07 and before you were able to get 50 Z-Tokens instead of like 6 or 7 Z-Tokens after a random battle o.O.

I miss all of those old, legendary and nostalgic players that had all of the best equipment, were level 130 and had trouble "attempting" to defeat the unbeatables...
ZERUEL!!!

UltraGuy -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (5/19/2011 3:11:06)

I remember when the Z-Token cap was around 300 :/
I remember when there was still no SP bar.
I remember when I whined about not being a Guardian. >.<

Jamiie -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (5/19/2011 7:04:26)

I remember when Yulgars shop was in its old graphics and the motherzard was a challenge xD I remember playing the frogzard quest 3 the day it came out lol Too long ago!

emporerxevious -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (5/19/2011 16:22:23)

I miss getting my a** kicked by the spider in Yulgar's inn.

tomthedragon -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (5/30/2011 2:38:10)

i really miss the very first war i participated in it was on the day i registered
the sea fiend war i get nostalgic every time i see the wep in the guardian shop

Mandorin -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (5/30/2011 10:39:45)

I miss spells costing half the mp they cost now..but I don't miss the damage. I remember how worried I was that the sweep would make my character unplayable.
I remember pining after nemesis equipment because golden was rare, and nemesis was the last word in defense for those who hadn't gotten golden.
I remember the introduction of Z tokens and the Sp bar.
I remember using each house's earning potential to advance to the next house (I'd love to see more houses come out, but I somehow doubt it'll happen).
I remember how much darksplatter rocked my world.

Trash Talker -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (6/6/2011 2:24:46)

I still miss the "recent" Frostval Quest. Why in the name of Lore did I have to sell those extremely valuable and somewhat overpowered, rare items for???
I was a noob (I was only level 95 I think, maybe 100) for selling them. Too bad they'll never return again T.T. Hopefully I wont sell my very useful rares again!

Mithos -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (6/6/2011 11:10:17)

@Mandorin

Nemesis, ha! Nostalgia... The Nightmare set! Back in those days, to me, 100k gold seemed like a distant dream, and getting the Nightmare set would be my ultimate goal. Watching that npc in the Nightmare set get stomped on by Carnax every time I went to help in that war... and the amount of threads on the forum asking if Nightmare would go rare after a year like Golden did, and what set would come out after. Turns out Nightmare never did go away, and Reign/Shadow were the sets to come out afterwards.

Oh, and also getting the Ice Katana even further back and getting excited every time it did the special... Used to be a lv 20 item, that!

Digital X -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (6/6/2011 11:12:45)

The first time i obtained 100K gold and finally bought my long awaited Big 100K. I was so happy that i got it and used it in nearly every fight even if the enemy was not weak to Light or Dark. Then a little later on someone mentioned about the lady on the blade, good times!

icetears -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (6/6/2011 19:10:15)

I remembered the great fire war where I first fell in love with the ice katana. Had good times with my ice katana. [:D]

Guardian Patrick -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (6/7/2011 15:46:41)

i miss my old guardian plate ;-; why it can't stay in the tower like the classic guardian plate ;-;?

AQFolder -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (6/8/2011 19:21:15)

I miss my normal ironthorn.

Jedi Master X2 -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (6/8/2011 19:34:42)

When the top Set at the time was the Au Set. Everyone had to have it. Werewolf form and Vampire Form were pretty awesome armors too. There was no Travel Map. There was no SP Bar. There were no Z-Tokens. You could special weapons by Gaurdianizing characters. Dragonhand, UIK, Black Wartexx, and Monster Smasher were some of the top weps of the time. Clans on the forums were super active, fun, and competitive. Good Rivalry. The old, old town. When you had to log out to use the shop feature to buy stuff. You would wait forever for the server to open up and then it finally would and you would farm a little bit and get some gold and go to the shop, buy stuff, then wait forever for the server to open back up so you could go back in. Also remember when Akriloth was 'tough' for most everybody. When level 100 was something to brag about and when it was tough to get to. Shoot, Im so old I still got Zombie Form. FTW!!!!

6+ years of this game...... Ive been around longer than a lot of NPC's lol

dragonmasterz -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (6/8/2011 20:05:51)

I remeber when Alpanar (Reign Set Quest) use to seem inpossible and when the Wizard Games use to be Challenging.

1337 -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (8/6/2011 14:56:00)

I miss(well nor really, but so nostalgic.)

Artix on the hill
Artix was everywhere
Riegn plate was super good
The highest lvl item was 95(pwsrf) and the lvl cap was 130.(actually 151: grace[ronin of dreams]).
Ubers
No z tokens
No x guard
No caps
No sp
When it was called element x
A lvl 110 warrior in nightmare plate got squished by carnax.

I miss that portal taking me into the future.

Oh, how I loved to use Hollow as my guest.

Mr.Pablo Jr. -> RE: =AK= The Ultimate Nostalgia thread (8/6/2011 20:14:00)

I miss the Carnax Saga, I use to farm it to oblivion. Now, the replay doesn't seem as fun as before.
