Yrro -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/2/2009 21:18:12)

@moneybags
The person was asking about a free warpforce character linked to a guardian account, not a free AQ character linked to a warpguardian account, so the only benifit is the reduced upgrade cost.

afterlifex -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 15:39:00)

I was just reading & someone said no stats increase gun dmg, if so is there a reason to use guns? Anything special about them?
As well is there a difference between starting class?

Yrro -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 15:45:10)

Plenty of reason to use guns, there is no need to train strength so you can put your points in something else, and think about it, if you get shot, does it matter how dexterious the person with the gun is anyway? As far as difference between classes goes, so far the only difference is the no-drop weapon and battlesuit.

Kyo -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 16:08:01)

one question, with the upcoming war so near, I was wondering what the best non-z weapon is for Light? it would make since that Darkness Dragons are weak to light...

and I have Osprey 10W1

oh and I'm lvl 21 currently but will probably get near max b4 war's end

legomaster00156 -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 17:27:08)

Tronzor's Solid Dual Blade, from the level 15 WarpGuardian Tower quest.

Kyo -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 17:31:09)

ty legomaster! I will go check it out now!

Wait... a 4th mission has been release for the Tower? I only show 3 ending at lvl 10...

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 17:36:58)

The Spy mission is the one that he is talking about.

5king wolf -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 19:30:57)

Is there any stat that boosts gun damage?

Ilø¤IMPERIAL¤ølI -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 19:35:55)

I believe not--no stats affects a gunner.

afterlifex -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 19:56:01)

Is there a way to untrain stats yet?

Ilø¤IMPERIAL¤ølI -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 20:01:31)

No, not yet.

afterlifex -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 20:34:19)

So how do you raise rank or can you?(PFC(1)(private first class), 1st lieutenant ect.) Or is that WG content?

thx

_Morpher_ -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 20:36:57)

@ Above - I believe doing the missions in the "Hangar Deck" will increase your rank. So, far you can only go up to rank 2.

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/3/2009 22:48:56)

_Morpher_

Best to say Corporal. Math is hard some times :D

weirdguy -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2009 0:48:08)

I have a guest that sometimes doesn't do anything (probably due to low charisma). But when this happens, they still take some of my SP. Is this intentional or fair?

howardftft -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2009 2:03:53)

ok so i notice that nothing increase range attack so does that means striker is just simply stronger then shooter or whatever??? or is there something that increase range attack with gun?

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2009 9:08:17)

weirdguy

No it's not fair, but just like in real life, if you have a worker and they're on their lunch break, they still get paid.

howardftft

You can put the points that normally would go into strength in to something else, say endurance or intelligence. The Gunners are meant to be the jack of all trades.

shrubbery -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2009 22:42:32)

hey is there any war items to buy after a wave or the special quest?

and hows my charecter so far?

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2009 22:45:22)

shrubbery,

No, there are no rewards at the end of a wave, but there are rewards once the war is over.

As for your character, your stats are too spread out, but since nothing can do anything about that, it should do fine for now. Your equipment is looking fine, just remember to upgrade your items to higher levels once you've reached them (except for the token pet, its supposed to let you breeze through the monsters ;))

Mega cool50 -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/9/2009 10:20:23)

Yes it is done,but staff is not gonna implant it yet,i remember Aelthai say that we were waiting on something to be released.

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/9/2009 10:27:27)

eijay2009,

Its not done yet; Aelthai has told us it will be released once something important has been released. You can read the all the posts here: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=16378913&mpage=15&key=?

For the exact quote:

Yes, it will be released when -

Oh no you don't. I'm not giving it away that easily ;-)
We're waiting on something to be ready before it can go out.

Kenneth_danish -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/10/2009 3:36:13)

Luck seens to be the only stat there can boost the damage from guns, when using Heavy Gunner Model A - of course, only when a lucky strike appears

My Question: Can the Forcefield recieve a lucky strike to? And will it give a boost to the damage the force field can take?

Nightly -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/10/2009 6:36:45)

Kenneth_danish

I think that it could. Since it has a damage meter that fluctuates like a real attack, it's possible for it to happen.

afterlifex -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/10/2009 12:06:30)

^^
quote:

Force Field
First, calculate damage as if you performed a Gun attack with the following weapon:

•Damage: 3-11
•BTH: 1
•Element: Light
•Hits: 1

This is not an actual attack, so you do not apply effects that alter damage or the monster's Element Modifers.
Then, you receive a Mana Shield. Its Power is equal to 85% of the damage that the above attack would have dealt. The Shield's Efficiency is 1.5. See the entry on the Mana Shield for details.

thous 2 lines do make it confusing, but to answer is IF LS can be applied then yes it would increase the dmg mana shield could take as the "dmg" is decided before the MS.
