The staff are already aware of it. If you want to change screen size, open the game and add ?launchtype=____ to the end of the URL in the address bar and hit Enter. Replace the ____ with the word for the screen size you want:

1000x750 - large
640x480 - small
600x450 - tiny
540x405 - itsy (no, I am not making that up)

In the quest "Warp Crystals" I have found at least 3, but how long is the quest? Do I have to get them continuously without a fail on the dice roll?

The quest is currently bugged; after you get 3 you have to search again on a world that isn't the one you were just on.

no. depending on the order you do them it can take more than three but there is an end. it's usualy at 4 iirc. if you go 1st world 3rd world and 2nd world it will get it in 3 crystals.

The possibilities:

1) STR: 50
DEX: 40
INT: 0
END: 20
CHA: 0
LUK: 40

Or


2) STR: 40
DEX: 40
INT: 0
END: 30
CHA: 0
LUK: 40

Or


3) STR: 60
DEX: 50
INT: 0
END: 10
CHA: 0
LUK: 30

If you want a balance-type statistic, I would recommend possibility #2. If you want power go for #3. :)

A Gunner should have a STR of 0. STR does nothing for a Gunner; Guns do not use STR.

^^Talk to Temura Ge'Thrak, and do the "Save the Queen" mission. You should be able to get the Laser Chucks at the end. :)


Edit: @Aelthai- Tell me Aelthai, if STR does not affect a Gunner. Then what does?

Nothing really affects a Gunner, but if you deal any non-Gun, non-Tech Ranged damage DEX affects that.
That is why some people think Gunners are bad, but most Gunner low-leveled weapons are stronger than low-leveled Striker weapons. A Gunner should have DEX, LUK, some END and possible INT for Techs.

Also, thanks for telling me 'bout the L-Chucks. They are powerful, Energy weapons and I need an upgrade.

Well, guns are weaker than sticks because guns are equivalent to magic weapons in aq post sweep which are weaker than ranged and melee weapons.

Agreed. I've been checking out some of the Ice Repeater Weapons and frankly I do not think they have enough power to serve as an Ice weapon. I can't find a good Ice Melee weapon, any ideas?



I have a question, I have my Drakel Striker. I'm just puzzled on weapon choices, can someone help?

Erebos - Drakel Striker

Planned Build - 70 STR / 30 END / 40 DEX /10 LUK

Weapons -

WarpGuardian Blade
Powered Lazer Chucks
Tronzor's Solid Dual Blade

I have more weapons, but those are my best and really only good ones.
Could anybody give me some options of other element weapons with over 15+ max damage. (e.g. 6 - 15, or something)

is there any plan to add stats to the vendor menus so we can know what the better upgrade is? between the WG items and Z-token items, it can't be based on cost or item level. (ex. the gauntlets or teks, no idea what the damage range is to actually purchase an upgrade when leveling).

Only the staff could know. Its a good idea, because Gaunts and Techs don't have a damage range. However, from Top to Bottom of a list of Gaunts you should be able to tell the power. And the level indicates how powerful, however say, a level 0 WG item at a top of the list is sometimes stronger than a, say, level 6 non-WG item later on in the list.

precisely, there are MANY times when a z-token or WG item is stronger, but lower level than another that p uts out less damage, level is not a reliable way to determine effectiveness. I try to stick to the encyclopedia, but it's organization is a mess

Agreed, they should sort it out better. I have to rely on this thread and myself and personal experiences to determine what weapons/armor/gaunts etc that I want. The 'Pedia should be split up into a sub-forum and different sections.

From what I have seen in reguards to MOST things in Warpforce...
Free player version=level+0
Guardian version=level +10
Z-Token Version =level+20

Just a fast and loose observation...there will be exceptions.

They look okay for a tank mage, if that's what you're going for, but your lack of DEX means taking a serious hit to your accuracy and dodging ability.
