Fleur Du Mal -> RE: Book of Tides discussion thread. (7/29/2010 22:42:40)

Still working. There are currently two pages written for the first draft and plot-wise it has only started... Battling with two challenges here: one is, obviously, the time, the other is the length. The story could actually be lengthened to fill out an entire novel, but I'm still optimistic that it can be worked to serve this short story.

Reaper Sigma -> RE: Book of Tides discussion thread. (7/30/2010 13:29:17)

It's the 30th. [>:]

I may just go with the story I started out with. It isn't very good, but it's all I've got.

All I have for now. More to come later. This one... is funny. So funny, that I now have several quotes from it in various places...

Mary Anne by Dragonnightwolf

Fish Out of Water by Clyde

Untitled by Alexmacf

Wow, you guys came up big and I was worried about this one. This was an incredible book. Each one is and all that participate just... wow. This has got to be one of my most favorite things now. I love this!!!!

And the Epilogue... the poor Archknights... whatever shall they do...
The Sigh of all Sighs by The L&L Archnights, especially Master Samak

And this concludes the Book of Tides.

WOW.

I am just in awe of all of you. You make my day, you know that? Thank you all for being so willing to contribute to this project. I don't think I could be happier.

Shreder -> RE: Book of Tides discussion thread. (8/19/2010 2:28:06)

It is finished!

(And boy did we have fun writing that last story. :P)

alexmacf -> RE: Book of Tides discussion thread. (8/19/2010 3:01:52)

All the stories are awesome. ^_^

Next in my pattern is light-hearted. Given that it's sci-fi, it'll be difficult, but fun. I can't wait!

Oh...my...gosh, someone understands my humor! :)

Great job by everyone. Now to read through the new stories...

horusmaster9 -> RE: Book of Tides discussion thread. (8/19/2010 20:05:21)

Looks like I missed out on contributing to a book. :|

Ah well. Great stories and a good read through. Maybe I'll be able to contribute next time. :3

Master Samak -> RE: Book of Tides discussion thread. (8/20/2010 0:31:24)

There's the spirit, horusmaster9! :D Go for it early, now that you know what the next Book's theme will be.

As for the current Book, I greatly loved reading all the entries in all its creativities. The Book of Tides, I believe, contains a lot of depth (pardoning the pun) in variety, and that surprised me. It was good to read stories that stood out from each other; a unique read with each post.
So well done and here's to you all who made it a grand compilation!

Cow Face -> RE: Book of Tides discussion thread. (8/20/2010 10:38:21)

After reading the submissions to the Book of Tides, I can't wait until the next book submissions start coming in. :3 It's been a pleasure going through each one; this Book project, in my opinion, is one of the best things to happen to L&L. Keep up the great writing! (Because if you don't- but I know you will- we'll be sad.)

superjars -> RE: Book of Tides discussion thread. (8/20/2010 12:30:20)

Book of Tides was quite a fun book to write for and to read the entries for! There were so many fun and good pieces all around. And XPlayer1, the style of your piece made me feel like it could have been an entry in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy; I loved your comedic style for that.
