Defeating all monsters completes the quest.
At the beginning of the quest, a scroll appears. The information regarding which Dravir to defeat is randomly generated each visit.

Objective completed: You defeated the attacking army easily! It's almost like you're level 10 again... (Since this is the original wave from DragonFable's second war ever!) - Quest initially had the target Dravir to be defeated in order to automatically complete the quest; this Dravir was located at the back of the wave.
