As outrageous as this could sound, about a year ago I was begining to design a game myself inspired by Battleon games... I was very creative with making it, although it was based on Battleon, it had something new introduced. Gauntlents. I tried to tell one of the Mods or Admins, (I can't remember which one) about my idea, but was told Battleon was too busy at the time to make a new game. I found it was very intresting that Gauntlents are a semi-important part in WarpForce. This statement is Extremely hard to prove, but I still have my Composition Book with all the info written in it.... Coincedence or Ripped-Off, Who Knows? I kinda just wanted to post this to see what reaction I'd get, but I really wonder if WarpForce's Gauntlent section was my idea from about a year ago.....

Other than that, I really like the addition so far, and I am really hoping that the "Protus" monster can expand, seeing how they can fuse with Humans, I'd appreciate a "Protus Zard". :D

I'm going to go with "coincidence". Gauntlets in WF are literally AQ shields by another name. Shields don't fit the feel of WarpForce, however, so we needed to update them to fit the setting (this is also why WF armors are "Battlesuits" - it fits the setting better). In addition ... the Gauntlet name was selected well over a year ago, during some of th early design work on WF.

As long as we were starting over, as it were, we decided to add some extra features; Gauntlet Blast came out of that. It's something that we could only make work because we were doing all Gauntlets and Battlesuits after it was decided upon.

As Aelthai has mentioned, the Gauntlet idea was just a coincidence. If you have further feedback you would like to provide to the team, feel free to post in the Gameplay Feedback thread.

As the problem is addressed and resolved, I'm going to lock up the thread ;-)
