First, make sure it's a valid image type -- .jpg, .gif, or .png. Second, make sure you're using the proper tags: [image][/image], or [img][/img] - NOT [IMG][/IMG] in capitals, that won't work. You can upload that image to something like Photobucket or Imageshack and use the URL from there.

Sorry for the wait and Gimp was being dumb with the fonts. At first I thought it was the font you provided but it was happening with all my fonts. They all looked pixely and it was irritating I couldn't figure out what was wrong, I'm sorry.

But here's your sig;

@2046808 - Maybe the antialiasing check box accidentally got unchecked for the text tool? Also make sure that under System > Appearance > Fonts font smoothing is enabled.
