Personally I think the daily tax needs a lot of work. In real life those that make more money in the year get taxed more, so it would make more sense if the side that has the highest influence/wins get taxed more at the end of the day.

I think the idea of the daily wars is great, but the tax really needs work or the legion side will never win another WD, what's worse is that hardly any faction will ever pass BKoC. Hopefully this is fixed before its too late. Before long BKoC has over 1 million influence, while the highest Legion factions will have less then 10,000.

No legion hasn't won any, but that's because there isn't a tax every hour or at the end of the day:D I'm hoping that gets implemented.

@Wiseman: If anything, it should be the winners that get the tax and the losers who are exempt as a sort of boost and to force the winners to try harder if they want to remain the winning side.

The system now is broken and Legion has no chance of recovering if it remains in place. It needs to be changed as soon as possible.

This was a weird change in my opinion since it basically contradicts the way the flag system works in which the winners (the flag holders) are taxed in order to promote competition and make it easier for others to rise to the top.

I think the old system would work best though (with the new tax rates) where both sides got taxed at the end of the day. I'm realizing that having the losers be exempt from the tax would put them at a big advantage over the winning side for the next day's World Domination, especially since the new tax rates mean a 25% tax for the top faction.

The problem now is that legion can not win since they are so far behind Exile factions because of the daily tax they've had to deal with. This problem isn't going to fix itself; it will just get worse as new players avoid legion factions entirely if they see they have no chance of winning.

The score buff is enough in itself in my humble opinion. The current system with the 200 influence per hour per flag + the 5 influence per victory is designed to work with both side being taxed every day. Without the tax, a situation like the one unfolding on the exile side of the war board comes into effect. Frankly, as it stands, in two weeks BKOC will have 250k influence and all the legion factions will have less then 40k. Hopefully, it will be corrected before it comes to that. I do like the buff from winning each day, however the influence tax needs to be re-implemented for both sides.

This infact needs to be tweaked it's just not right at the moment, however by the looks of it the "Legion" side is not reacting to this how the devs thought they would they are not fighting back, is like if they almost as if they surrendered. :/

Let's hope there is an update soon (friday) and it's fixed befoe BKOC are to ahead of every other faction in the game.

If you havent seen Bkoc has a majority of influence ,meaning we dont get taxed because exile wins instead of legion.

@Gold shock: Correct and at the moment this is proving that the new system is greatly unbalanced, as others have said in 2 or 3 weeks BKOC will be at like 300k+ influence and not because they entirely earned it themeselves but because they weren't taxed (that is an exile effort) and because they are holding various flags, while in the other hand Legion will be around 20-50k influence.

The update is great, I love the new features and the flags work so much better now[;)]

But the influence tax should be on the top 8 factions from either side, at the moment that would be all Exile factions, but as the game continues this will balance out. And you may find it being 4 factions from Exile and 4 factions from Legion being taxed.

The overall war needs to be fixed a bit too, as the default affiliation is Legion. Perhaps the faction rank of Squad needs to be achieved before the faction influence can contribute to the overall war?

In my opinion if Exlie wins we be taxed for 5k inf and legion 10k that will be more fair i think or if losing allignment like legion factions hold flag dont get token tax from them with this they can hold flags more easyly and increase their infs

So far the idea that makes the most sense is "Goony's top 8 tax"

The top 8 factions based on their overall influence should be taxed regardless of their affiliation or if their side won the daily faction war.

Perhaps a better method to incentivize the daily war would be to reduce the tax by 5%. The winning side, in addition to receiving the 200 faction points for the daily win they would also have 5% of their taxes removed should they be taxed. That way should your team win and be the highest influence
team on the board that day your tax is 15% instead of 20%. IF you are 8th and on the winning side your taxes go from 5% to 0. If your on the losing side your taxes stand as is, that is to say, if you are one of the 8 highest influences on the board that day regardless of side, your influence is taxed. That is a huge amount and in and of itself is well worth fighting over.

It needs a solution and it's quite simple return the equal taxing to the top influence leaders (just as it was before).

The only prize "Exile" or "Legion" need at the end of the day is the experience points to rank up there faction.

I think the war should just be returned to the regular World Domination wars, but still have Daily Faction Wars, just it wouldn't change the chance of both alignments getting World Domination, and it would tax both alignments. But, as Dax said, hopefully it's changed soon.

I believe the majority of Legion stopped playing competitively due to Legit's overwhelming influence on the leader boards. Most fearing that they will never get WD because of it. By that standard, legion may eventually bounce back, since there currently is no real (legal) way to get to the top of Exile anymore.

@above: That is greatly true but "Legion" has factions that can easily compete with Legit such as KoTR and Savagekillers.


Estimate how much Influence the BKoC will have by friday (fixrealease day) well if there is a realese that is.... is there isn't, well I don't have to say what will happen, have I?

This will Affect Exile Greatly while legion keeps The Old tax.
Maybe In the Other Update This will be Removed.
Also If this keeps Up Neither Nor Exile or Legion will Ever win The Only one that would win it would be Bkoc.

Looks like Legion is not going to win today either, not even with that new reinforcement feature it could use a little tweaking to get the desired balance (making each aligment win one day at a time).

Legion can't even catch up with 25k reinforcements, so something else needs to be done to fix the faction war, because at this point the Exiles have won.

With the current setup, Legion is going to win the daily competition once every 5 or 6 days once the reinforcements get large enough. Then Exiles will win the following 5 days once again. This is going to leave Legion factions very far behind in Influence. I'd be surprised to see a Legion faction winning World Domination before the end of the year if the current system stays in place.

Reinforcements were a step in the right direction, but the losing side needs just a little more help.

2vs2 Faction In Exile, But A 1vs1 Faction In Legion. Best of Both Worlds, So To Speak, Just To Show Epic Duel How It's Done.
I Also Wanted To Be The First In Legion To Win World Domination In The Revised Faction Wars. And The First To Make BKOC Take A Nice Fat Tax Hit.
Positioning My Team For Top Spot To Begin The Day Was Simple Enough. But I Noticed Early On, That Other "Top" Legion Factions Were Not Really Playing. Teams Like Legit, Savagekillers, Knights Of The Round, Etc. Were Not Adding Many Wins For
Overall Legion Victory. Hmmm, I Wonder Why That Is I Asked? Could It Be, They Don't Want Me To Win World Dom And Prove Yet Again Who The Best Player And Leader In The Game Is? So I Get A Brilliant Idea. Legion Needs Faction Wins. Since All of Legion's So Called Best Were Not Going To Help. I Decided I Would Create My Own Legion Army. Make My Own Legion Faction Allies. Buffy's Army Of Noobs! After All, I Have Alot Of Other Accounts With Varium, Might As Well Make Use Of Them. So I Took Some Of My Alts As Faction Founders And Made A Few Legion Factions. I Recruited Mostly Low Level Noobs. Players Hungry To Get Wins, Level Up And Be A Part Of Something BIG. Unlike Legit, Savagekillers And KOTR. Who Have No Pride Whatsoever And Barely Helped Today, Again, I Wonder Why?
So After Making A Few Legion Factions, And Stocking Them Full With Active Low Level Players, Suddenly... Exile Stopped Gaining Ground. LOL. PWNed By Buffy And A Bunch of Noobs. How Sweet It Is! All Done Within The Game Rules Of Course. And Totally Winning The War For Legion. Dominating Actually. With MY Factions Doing The Work. Getting The Wins.

@Buffy: There is one vital part on this that you forgot to mentioned, is called "Reinforcements" which give legion a huge advantage making it impossible for them to lose :P

On topic: Lets see if Legion wins it today with all those stacked reinforcements Titan and NW implemented xD
