Do you guys think it can still work? Because with item enhancments, 140 hp+ KB staff+assimilate=this build that could work since mages could use assimilate to stop BH and merc combos, which really hurts 5 focus Mercs and BH, and with that much hp str and supp. mercs can't 2-hit kill, which pretty much dooms them. What do you guys think?

Agility would screw you pretty much, plus, 4 Field Medic cooldown... Meh...

Yes! Heal loop is very much still in play! The build only got harder to use, but with some tinkering, everyone can Heal Loop constantly. Me, Deathknightmare, and Endtime are who I consider extremely good Heal Loopers because we keep it up for a long time. I can get a 96-99% ration on 100 wins with only 15 NPCs easily. Deathknightmare and Endtime can do the same thing! All you need is a little brain power and you can easily win. Did I also mention I'm a Gamma player? Watch the 1vs1 Leaderboard this upcoming Saturday...[;)]

note:I'm not lvl 32 or varium or anything, i just wanted to show that heal loop could still work
Then u could string at least 2 huge heals

I believe that agility is Not what prevents heal looping. The true nerf that destroyed heal looping was the 4 turn field meduc cooldown. With agility, it is still possible to loop, you would just have less def/res. With the 4 turn cooldown for FM, it is hard to heal twice, and almost impossible to heal 3 times.

I can still somewhat heal loop, it's not as effective with the 4 turn cooldown, and not even effective against level 31+ varium players, but it works in most 2vs1 battles. I can get in about 4 heals, including boosters so it works, slightly.

I do atleast 2 heals(62) with Booster + high support but it doesnt enough to win for me. I will try to do this.


Edit:Yes i tried , 30 battles only 1 lose , i can say its good.

once there are more lvls are better stat points u could try a TANK HEALOOPING MAGE so much def and res the 4 turn cooldown wouldn't make a difference. hope i helped

^ with tank mage reroute dont give much energy to healloop and with tank build your support will be less so heal dont give much hp.

Well with assimilate tnk hlooping could work, but you'd get 2-3 hitted by maulzerkers. But with the 140 hp h-looper you last too long for them.

^ yes its high win rate but too slow , its not good , high suport is better.

Maybe it could work but what if a Merc with +120 STR did a lvl 10 Maul Stuned you then did lvl 10 Beseker think 140 HP be depleted easily not to mention the crits an rage.

and how are u going to fill the requirements for those attacks?
like 75 energy.
and the dex required.
u would have LOW health
and its basicaly impossible to have 75 energy with decent HP and decent dex without founder and bunny zooka.

i havent fought a mage that heal loops but shortly after teh BH nurf i fought a Heal looping BH and it was very affective(and sorta scary)

Heal looping is more alive then ever before. Tomorrow you can see me successfully get 3 heals in one battle. (currently a TM)

Ever heard of boosters?

Heal looping was never dead. All you have to do is use a booster for that extra cooldown turn. Nothing difficult...

How much hp did you use? Because a maulzerker can't take out 140 hp in 2 turns.

i use 158
i got stun which was 51damage
berzerker was 98
i heal was 54
i got gun 49
which leave me with 14 if im correct
nothing else to do so i miss a turn and die

Maybe you should try 140 to keep better defenses

dude i killed heal loopers in 2 turns.
most of them were 3 turns even when they heal.
but here's the thing
if ur getting hit harder than what u can heal, u wont last long.

Heal looping is indeed dead my friends, and believe me if it was still alive I would still be a mage. With the reduction in blocking and crits the build itself has been rendered useless. Merc's and BH now have access to the gamma bot which allows them to keep the pressure up on mages. The bot does usually 40-45 damage to a typical mage because they have 100 support. They can't recover from a continuous assault. Sorry to say this but you can be in denial as much as you want but, heal looping is dead!
