Seekrat: Unfortunately, you're both too late! The ritual has already begun!

«Scene pans upward, revealing a Shadowy storm»
ElBhe: What have you done?
Seekrat: I have opened the gate to your home, ElBhe. And brought a few of your friends over from the other side to visit!
Seekrat: All it took was a little help from your family...
ElBhe: ... What!?
Seekrat: MUWAHAHA! Your "Litter" has made it easy to channel the power of the Other Side!
Seekrat: And just wait. Once I have harnessed the power of The Old One, I will lead this great shadow army to conquer Lore!
ElBhe: You'll pay dearly for this, SeekRat! Nobody take my family! *hiss*
«You»: Wait... "The Old One"? Is that a shadow creature with a really big shadowy beard?
ElBhe: The Old One is a powerful and ancient being whose very presence could destroy this universe!
ElBhe: His mere presence drives rational beings insane!
«You»: ... but the SeekRat already is insane.
ElBhe: Er, right... more insane, then!
SeekRat: I wish I could stay and gloat, but there is more of the ritual to complete for me to obtain The Old One's power.
«SeekRat leaves.»
«You»: How is this happening, ElBhe? I thought shadow selves couldn't survive outside of a body!
ElBhe: It's the aura emanating from that portal. The Old One's power is seeping into Lore, allowing the creatures to venture into Lore as far as He allows.
«You»: So if we can fight through these monsters and get to the SeekRat before it's too late, we can send them all back?
ElBhe: Exactly. And we can save my family in the process. Everyone wins.
«You»: Then we'd better get started!

The Seekrat is bringing creatures from the Shadow Realm to Lore! Only you and your fellow Guardians and Adventurers can halt the incoming rush of Shadow creatures and put a stop to the Seekrat's plans before the ritual is complete!
