Celestin, eh? Good to know. Yes, I knew there were, but I have very high standards when it comes to coloration. Black horses are magnificant beasts, and as far as I know, the red coloration I am thinking of would not naturally be found in such equines. I suppose I could check.

Edited my earlier post. ;)

Can somebody tell me how long my post was in some fancy writing program people tend to use, such as Word, or something?

Jessa K -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (1/23/2012 19:06:08)

O_o 2703 words!

'red' is one of the most common horse colors, there are many different shades. Chestnuts and Sorrels tend to have an orange-ish tint to their coats. Blood Bays, on the other hand, truly are red, but with black manes, tails, and lower legs. I myself favor Palominos or Cremellos.

I find it amazing that Drake is able to ride at all with such injuries. To go at a gallop with even mild injuries is painful.

Drakkoniss -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (1/23/2012 20:19:02)

To be fair, he very well could have had to do that quite a few times before, and so could have coping mechanisms for it.

Hmm... having trouble finding one that suits my tastes while looking on Google Image Search for "Bloody Bay Horses"...

Red horse is giving few actual photos with horses in them. -_-

"Bloody Red horse" gave virtually none, and while "Dark Red horse" gave more, none of them could sway my oppinion from black horses looking the best.

If they were cars, that might be different, but horses only have certain color ranges, and I do like a good black horse.

So Clown is taking those seeds that the Dealer tried to sell Ms. Jae, huh? And killing himself through overdose. Hmm, interesting. I wonder just what they're doing for him, anyway?

Yup, even someone as tough as the Silhouette just can't say no to sweet girl like Jae. Getting lectured like that was probably a little annoying, though...

Very strange scene with the crows in the woods. I did feel kinda bad for the three that Drake shot, especially the one that was sad for the other two. Even if he did claw Drake in the face.

And finding his horse shot? Yeah, that had to hurt.

Clown the Jester -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (1/24/2012 17:59:31)

Heh heh heh...I know how to make em hurt.

So when I wanna get to a tough guy...I go after their horse. Heh heh heh...it shows whats what.

HEE HEE HEE HA HA HA!

Jessa K -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (1/29/2012 21:18:18)

Blood Bay, not bloody bay Drak ;)

Just curious, can we expect a new chapter any time soon, Clown?

Clown the Jester -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (2/8/2012 21:34:23)

I'm actually working on a new chapter that should be out in a few days. I get so distracted with L.O.C.K.D.O.W.N. and other prodjects I'm working on. Heh...But thankyou for the intrest.

Kinzdor -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (3/29/2012 21:59:24)

OH NO I MISSED SOME READING! Well time for silly me to get caught up! Hmm lets see, where I left off at. *cracks knuckles* Ok here we go with Chapter 5.

Boy is the Clown good at fight scenes. The Silhouette is clearly a much much much darker (though that could just be Clown`s writing style) version of Grey. I liked how the big, tough, unmerciful, man was talked down by a nice sweet, old lady. Also nice to see that Slyvester did not abandon his friend. THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP! Crows? I have always preferred Ravens myself. My thoughts on him making the deal with The Dealer: BAD IDEA DRAK! I`m sure the Shilhoute would have kept his word, but know, Drake is sure as hell gonna stray. Those seeds seem like a type of steroids to me. Probably are. *Cracks knuckles again* Now onto chap, 6!

Grey wrote this one, if I ain`t mistaken. That makes me even more excited . Nice, insite into The Silhouette`s mind and life. Poor guy, I mean his ways are a tad overly harsh, but you gotta feel sorry for him. He is so just brushing the line, between good and evil, and doestn`t even know it. The Wacth Man? This interests me for some reason. Jessica Kay? Rerfence to Jessie maybe? Then again Grey wouldn`t know her unless they met in game. Looks like we have both of the Docs now. The Black and the Gold! The protyaley of Goldstein, made me giggle. The horse, seems interesting. It`s true what you say, people and pets begin to seem alike! Heh! I am enjoying the tid bits of history, and lore in this chapter. Wonder you The Roquer could be based on. The enterprise part made me think of The Dealer, but he is already in this story.

Sir Night -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (3/29/2012 23:35:27)

Man, epic chapter! Definitely worth the wait.

A side point that I've been wondering about - if Skull Gulch is in the swamp, is the entire town on top of a big deck, or is there just a big section of dry dirt for them to build on?

Shadowlord9k -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (3/30/2012 4:21:05)

Chapter 6: The Darkest of Shadows
It's finally here! Oh joyous day.

Drake Ness

That reminds me of a person on this other site that had Drake in his username. He deleted his account like every other week but just kept coming back. That's a story for another time though.

quote:

“Rachel.”

It kinda makes me wonder why the name Rachel was chosen for that character now.

The people of Overlook no longer trusted him. They feared him. Hated him.

At this point, it's hard to blame them.

quote:

He knew their secrets. He knew their shames.

Somehow that seems more evil then obeying primal instincts.

quote:

It was time to get to work.

Well this sounds promising.

quote:

Sheriff Velmur would never aid the Silhouette in his hunts.

You can't really blame him though.

That was just a rude move.

quote:

had trouble thinking up a third reason.

Dead relative could be one.

quote:

He had a sharp mind and two well trained fists.

Ambushes could ruin those.

quote:

difficult to visualize how the fight occurred with heel marks alone.

And how said combat could occur.

quote:

What sense was there in that?

Perhaps it didn't Start out so violent.

quote:

Fighting Dancers?

Dancer classes are usually pretty strong, but low defenses and rather unreliable.

quote:

The kind of stench that would make someone shove a rotten egg into your nose for relief.

I told you Taco Bell was a bad idea.

quote:

“Why?”

Why not?

quote:

However…no reasonable plans came to mind.

Remove your cursed disguise, they probably won't recognize you. Probably.

Quicksand isn't actually sand, and a swampy wouldn't be sandy at all.

Darn, a cliffhanger ending. I really do hate those.

Night: I would assume a combination of both.

HEE HEE HEE! God I love your comments Shadowlord9k. Heh heh heh. You're brutal honesty and humorous remarks are always entertaining and insightful.

HEE HEE HEE!

Ya know every time I think of the name Rachel, I think of Rachel from Batman the Dark Knight...ya know? How Dent turns into Two Face because of his gal dieing a rather funny means of heat. Heh heh heh.

Thanks for the catch on the quicksand. Heh heh heh. I don't think these things threw sometimes.

Sir Night: Intresting thoughts on the foundation of Skull Gulch...a very intresting idea with the dock like base. Very intresting.

Glad you liked the new Chapters Kinzvlle. Roquer is based of the Character Rocker. He's the NPC and the guy he's based off of is a good friend of mine. Heh heh heh.

Thanks, I do try.

I actually never thought of that before, all I thought up was Rachel Ray for some reason. I don't even watch her show.

No problem, it happens to the best of us.

PallyKnight -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (4/3/2012 20:40:59)

Enjoyed the new chapter, All about Grey! He's so mysterious it's like trying to put a puzzle together upside down underwater trying to figure him out. Can't wait for the next chapter or even the sequel(?)

Clown the Jester -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (4/6/2012 17:04:08)

I've decided I'm gonna compind my origonal sequal and first story together. So all characters will appear in an epic event.

Don't worry sir...everyone will be in it.

Good to hear Clown.

delta blitz -> RE: (HS) The Good, The Bad, and The Chaos. Discussion (2/18/2013 16:02:46)

God I still love how you write....it's so impressive and your fight scenes...so descriptive. The scene with Grey taking on 20 of Charries men was pure genius, especially the playing dead part, I only wish I could do Grey's character as good as you do(if I could I would have wrote a story with him and the Smasher in it but I digress). Though I do wish to see how Grey thinks....I mean you show how he thinks but I would love to hear his inner monolouge as I find Grey to be more human in comparison to the Smasher with a small combination of the Summoner's mindset(just like Grey, the Summoner is stubborn close to the point of being single minded when it comes to reaching a goal....no matter what is in his way) here and there; though of course Grey is more of a mix of the punishier and batman then anything. The fact that he is so prepared as to have whip just incase his dual revolvers ran out of bullets shows his tactical skills and his martial art skills are admirable and shows you know fully well how a martial artist moves and attacks when outnumbered or taking on a stronger opponent. I feel sorry for Charries though as all that he said is true, legends come and go everyday and though some may still remember eventually even the greatest legends die out and the folk tales end. Anyway...I hope this comment helps as I know how tough it is when no one is giving your work feedback.
