Fatal Impact -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 15:33:46)

My friend Epicless told me about this story. That guy was playing halo on his xbox for one to many hours, he didnt feel something strange at all? he must have been a pretty hardcore gamer. God bless his soul (even though im atheist) xD

Calogero -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 15:41:00)

aslong as you get some movement than this won't happen to you...

I go to the gym every 2 days and also some excercises on the Wii Fit ( during ED that is )
if you do something else instead of Sitting all the time, no problem :)

xxmirxx -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 15:54:37)

I don't think he die only for sitting for 20 hours. He probably had bad health before as well.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 15:59:28)

mir you are current he most likely had an underlieing heath condition but the problem with those kidns of health conditions is you dont know if you have them or not

so my advice to you guys is every hour or so during your opponents turn do some push ups or stretch or something personally i practice some parkour every hour which knocks like 10 minutes out of my hour but im not a big competitor anyway so it doesnt matter

xxmirxx -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 16:06:45)

You got do some stretching and do 10 minutes jog. Because if you just jump to doing push ups and you been sitting for while you could do harm to yourself.

edwardvulture -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 16:54:26)

It is bad for you eyes and I think they should be split up so they don't expect you to stay on the whole day.

Zean Zapple -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 21:23:36)

There are solutions to this. When I went for 1vs1, I set aside 5 minutes per hour to do stretches. And one full hour to ride a bicycle. BTW this thread can be considered disrupting the natural flow of the game by discouraging players to go for Daily 1vs, 2vs2, or Juggernaut.

Master Volcon -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 21:30:48)

Nuuu, zean they are gonna lock it now!!!!
=o

Zean Zapple -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 21:31:43)

Yay I helped expose rule breaking! I feel like a filthy blood sucking AK now [:D]

Master Volcon -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 21:33:53)

^lol

no but seriously this is like a PSA so... don't lock!

People need to know the serious repercussions that can hard the body from doing such acts as 1v1, 2v2, and Jugg leaderboard!

Zean Zapple -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 21:35:28)

Who cares! Most people who play this aren't very healthy anyways... Look at the T-Shirt size that's sold out :PPPPP

Master Volcon -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 21:36:51)

=o

I just noticed... that is kinda sad.
Well there are some healthy players i bet. Its not to late for those players to understand what can hurt them or not.

Zean Zapple -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 21:38:11)

True true. I for one just gained like 50 pounds on vacation lol :P Not really but a few maybe 5. I gotta go burn em off so I fit in my Medium ED T-Shirt :) But still, disrupting the general balance is yuckums.

~Zean

Master Volcon -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 21:41:12)

This general balance will only lead to a more obese and unhealthy population which in turn can last for generations to come.

ED is addicting, and for some people they don't realize what can come with playing ED for too long per day.

We should learn to be careful with our bodies and AE should help, even if it a little ad, saying "get exercise by doing jumping jacks in between turns" xD

rej -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (7/31/2011 22:09:35)

it would interesting if, instead of daily 1v1, 2v2, fame, etc, there was 6-hour achievments (most wins/fame/whatever in 6 hours) that would solve the problem of health risks to some extent

also, yes, stop and do something physical once an hour or so

i spent alot of time doing curls with one arm while i clicked with the other while going for 1v1 and 2v2

Skullcandy1992 -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (8/1/2011 1:04:46)

Ugh and im gonna go fr daily jug and 2v2 leader sometime next week but now u guys are scarring me

goldslayer1 -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (8/1/2011 1:06:28)

@skull
lol well if u take a break for just 5 minutes and u jog or do some quick exercise u should be fine.
plus u wont feel so tired or bored

.PinkMoose. -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (8/1/2011 1:09:58)

1 day isn't that bad but if constantly *cough* all time 15 1vs1 then you got yourself a problem

Fatal Impact -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (8/1/2011 1:39:54)

Take breaks every 1-2 hours, do some excersice and get something to eat.

Im Pretty sure you cant die from playing epicduel for a couple of hours :P

Deimos... -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (8/1/2011 2:13:59)

goldslayer1 -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (8/1/2011 2:15:24)

@deimos
out of call the COD heads that play 24/7 u think u would see more of these thrombosis.

u have nothing to fear lol.

Deimos... -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (8/1/2011 2:17:57)

Good! u rather people die?!?!?!? omfg

goldslayer1 -> RE: Daily Achievement Awards: Bad for your health? (8/1/2011 2:18:58)

@deimos
facepalm
there are people who play 16 hours a day and sleep 8 > recycle
like i said this isn't something common, its more of a rare thing.

i cant even begin to imagine hard core WOW players.
yet u dont hear much of them do u?
so yeah its a rare thing.
plus its pretty clear the news media is trying to bring video games down.
