Just cuz you hate a class being Oped doesnt really do anything does it?

Ok if u mages say heal looping requires skill (well most mages said that last time when every1 was complaining about heal looping mages. if u were in the old forums u will see loads of post about heal looping needing Skill). heal looping tlc merc= heal looping mage. so tlc merc need skill to heal loop like wat all u mages said last time in the old forums. if u need a skill to do something that is = to being tactical. i m not agreeing with wat people say bout heal looping = need skill. to me heal looping = a way to make battles long. it does not take skill to heal loop. so in conclusion mages were just making up reasons last time.

Now back to topic

yes tlc merc ain tactical at all imho. they can use lots of build without making themselves think so much. support,str,5 focus, 5 focus(support), 5 focus(str), 5 focus(tank) and 5 focus( tech). that is alot of build a tlc merc can use.

I agree, but TacMerc Has a large advantage on the heal loop front. The hybrid armor means they last longer to get them to the heal, and the frenzy gets them more health to turn into energy to heal with (and frenzy with). And the fact is, in 2v2 if you get a level 33 tactical merc, they (very nearly all) have high defences and even higher (strength/support #delete as applicable).. its quite hard to end well when they are the ones with the high defences, high crit chance, and (60damage basic hits - your def/resist / continual healing and 60damage aux). The ones who don't know how to use their build well get beaten still, but the ones who do know how to use their builds are hard.

Im not buying into the whole 'EMP is useless' thing. It helps stop support builds artillery strike, and tactical mercs reroute from allowing a continual heal. Of course, you need to survive their blows, but if used skillfully, a cyber hunter can do well.

I fought a handful of TLM's today(like 20) each one had a different style,focus tank str support, but each one pretty much used teh same skill tree good smoke, max reroute or close to max, frenzy, multi and hybrid so even with all teh different styles of TLM they all pretty much use the same skill tree

Lemme put it all to you this way ... get used to Tactical Mercs being the easy win class because nothing is going to be done to tame them. This is not a reflection on the balance team its just an observation from my years of experience here in ED that the game developers will not do a lot to fix something that they will not admit to being OP.

If you want to look at the second best class for 1v1 instead of following the mob then try Bounty Hunter.

If you love to have a challenge then just use any of the other classes.

I heard that the skill tree isn't final yet, they'll probably move it around, or put entirely different skills in before the testing phase ends.

Str TLM is easy to counter , they do always same thing , try to stun or use frenzy to heal , the weakness of str builds is all of their power is blockable so simply use high dex or reflex boost.I saw some str TLM that uses Frenzy with full hp , you should win those ppl if you cant its your problem.

^That doesn't always work, the shields won't last forever and they get rage way too fast.

Since this thread is basically only being used to demean players that are Tactical Mercenaries, locking up. I warned you on page one, but this has turned into a discussion about the players rather than the class.
