It's not just the powers, but consider the personalities of those surrounding here. The serioussness of the Inquisition alone makes her just stand out. Noir's the only one who even comes close to being as noticeable as she is.

Two Chapter update!

Lawrence finally finds out what makes Jeanne tick! Can you discover her secret?

Anyway, this chapter(s) will be the last where you'll be seeing Lawrence in a long time. She won't be doing much after this. She'll be appearing soon though, but expect that in 15-20 chapters.

It seems a lot of people want to play "pranks" with the little regenerating Jeanne. Regenerating Jeanne, sounds catchy.

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/10/2011 12:28:16)

Sometimes I wonder if I'm either a sadist or just hate Jeanne. I mean, this is the 3rd time she's broken and unconscious and everything's still going to get worse for her. Then there's the fact that she hasn't won any battles yet (beating the tar out of Lawrence doesn't count). By the way, DD, how do like the Dravir Lich? It's done by the way.

Glais -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/10/2011 15:48:46)

I read at least one of em last night but had no way to comment.
So yeah I liked that chapter, strange as it was, though I feel like I complained you to death which caused Lawrence's predicament. Though I can't argue that you wrote it well. I wanted it to happen because Lawrence became somewhat of a jerk xD

I'm pretty sure I only read one chapter (wit da blob things), so off to read!

Jeanne paid dearly for it as well. An equal measure of karma, I'll say.

Mortarion -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/10/2011 17:19:56)

KAho, can you make acharacter wich I could like, I mean all of them seem to be jerks in some way -_-

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/10/2011 17:50:42)

You might like Lawrence. Refer to Chapter 8 to 10. She summons eldtrich horrors and has a nasty sense of humor.

Mortarion -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/10/2011 17:56:11)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I must re-read it all, got lost tbh, hey, waht would Jeanne think of Mortarion after he got his D form, you know aht I mean Kaho, and waht would the other inquisitional members, Noir, Lawrence tink of it?

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/10/2011 18:09:03)

Jeanne is obviously out of the question. She tried to kill Noir for being a vampire, and went berserk at Lawrence (Lawrence did provoke her though). Things have slightly changed with the Inquisition though, despite what they lead you to believe, they are more open to the dark elements than you think. Jeanne is just a whole different matter. She's the epitome of genocidal racism.

Mortarion -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/10/2011 18:22:08)

And the other two?

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/10/2011 18:34:57)

They'd be neutral about it at best, but I think Lawrence will try to enslave Mortarion and seal him into one of her tomes to her growing number of eldritch familiars.

Mortarion -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/10/2011 18:56:26)

He, I think Mortarion woudn't submit easily, and what would Lawrence think of Mortarion in general?

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/10/2011 21:34:31)

She'd call him an interesting specimen.

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/11/2011 2:27:41)

Gah, never knew there were so many stupid sounding lines in chapter 10, particularly the fight with the Deep One. I think I was half asleep when I typed that that out.

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/19/2011 9:10:06)

Chapter 11 is up.

Nothing much, but some character interaction and self service on my part.

Mortarion -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/19/2011 9:18:30)

Ughhh I am lost, I'll have to re-read the whole ting, oh well ^_^. by the wya you said a few posts ago that Lawrence would find Mortarion as an interesting specimen, by that you meant interesting especiment in like "I want to cut him open and study him" or more like "I'd like to talk wit him"?

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/19/2011 9:38:55)

Something along the lines of "He'd make a good familiar". As an Eldritch Being Summoner, she likes to collect all sorts of monsters and extra dimensional creatures to submit to her will.

Mortarion -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/19/2011 9:48:27)

hmmm intresting, she collects them even thought htey are concious?

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/19/2011 9:54:46)

I dont think eldritch beings have a concept of "consciousness", they're either rampaging horrors or in deep sleep. That's not counting the more intelligent Elder Gods though.

Mortarion -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/19/2011 9:56:45)

hmmmm, but you said that she would like to turn Mortarion into a familiar,e ven thought he has conciousness

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/19/2011 10:10:46)

Not anymore when he is sealed into her Greater Books of Summoning like Al-Azif and the Keys of King Solomon.

Mortarion -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/19/2011 10:17:41)

Isn't Al-Azif the one who wrighted the Necronomicon ;), and the Keys of King Solomon, hmm, what famiiars does she has, I want a full list *twitches*

lordkaho -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/19/2011 10:28:04)

In this universe Al-Azif is the prototype of the Necronomicon, but Jeanne burned it when she fought Lawrence. Let's just say Lawrence possesses every magical tome from Terra. She can summon divine beasts such as pegasus and the bull of heaven to Eldritch monsters like the Deep Ones and Elder Things.

Mortarion -> RE: (DF) The Hounds of God- Discussion (11/19/2011 10:30:01)

Ahhhh intreswting, nowspeaking likew ritters, Lawrence breaks the fourth wall, right?
