Emptiness -> a major issue (10/16/2011 22:41:49)

The 2vs2 issue has been here long enough and action needs to be taken Now. It's unfair to the player that they receive a lost when there partner lags out and they have no chance of winning, luck is already rampant in 1vs1 now imagine that issue with two 2 more players. A system needs to be in place when this occurs and I'm surprised that a system still hasn't been implanted, the simplest solution is that it shouldn't count as a win and lose for neither team. This issue needs to be resolved as i don't think implanting a simple system like this is very difficult. What are the problems 2vs2 is facing? Have these problems driven you away from 2vs2? Do you like 2vs2 more than 1vs1? Fellow 2vs2ers are you terrified in the first few seconds when a match begins as they are the deciding moments if your partner lags out? Please tell of your experiences in situations like this.

Midnightsoul -> RE: a major issue (10/16/2011 23:16:20)

thats why i will never 2v2 as often as i used to. anyways, im used to 1v1. ^^

PivotalDisorder -> RE: a major issue (10/16/2011 23:18:39)

they cannot tell difference between lag out and purposefully leaving.

if you don't get a loss when you leave, everyone will abuse leaving even more than they do now.

motorbreath -> RE: a major issue (10/17/2011 0:05:01)

I won't 2v2 unless I can choose my partner. 2v2 is a nice distraction sometimes, but I can't commit to it seriously until I'm able to ally link with a competent person.

TrickoTreat -> RE: a major issue (10/17/2011 0:41:37)

its perfectly fine for me , I can still own them both.

Joe10112 -> RE: a major issue (10/17/2011 0:55:30)

That's why I Have 1951 1v1 wins and 141 2v2 wins. 1v1 is the way to go, bro.

I only do 2v2 during Power Hour.

Lord Nub -> RE: a major issue (10/17/2011 1:09:18)

Yep the 2v2 issue is much larger now due to the heal debuff.

In the past players were able to recoup with heal when in a tough situation such as a 2v1 but now an effective heal takes a ton of energy.

Don't get me wrong the heal update improved this game a ton but the disconnects and bugs are killin us.

Take a notice how your buffs and debuffs respond in 2v2 matches after a player dies. It can take a turn off or add a turn and cause many problems after you strategized and planned on something happening the way it was meant to.

Also 2 33 variums vs a 33 and some dude with a primary only weapon or 60 hp is another killer. Much more difficult than previously.

In the end peeps enjoy the randomness 2v2 brings to the table, myself included, but the skill glitches and cancelled matches issue must be fixed.

Also today I noticed many peeps dummying for players in their faction. This is something that is tough to fight both in battle and out of the battle because it is nearly impossible to prove.

Something like this the community must band together to put a stop to by condemning those that do it and/or reporting there actions with tangible evidence.

Good luck guys and hopefully one day soon we will have a better 2v2 gaming experience :)

Lol on what toon. Gonna have to peep that record

PivotalDisorder -> RE: a major issue (10/17/2011 2:52:08)

@Lord Nub: I saw 2 characters stood together, one was a fully geared 33 varium player and the other just had starter weapon.
Then the guy with starter weapon challenged me, few seconds later he disappeared and the fully geared varium challenged me.

I just laughed at him and said " haha you're dummying, epic fail" lol

seems dummying is very common especially among the larger factions.

Chosen 0ne -> RE: a major issue (10/17/2011 19:28:07)

we just need an alley link for 2v2.

the final hour -> RE: a major issue (10/18/2011 0:19:42)

yeah 2v2 is a lost cause ive made similar threads to this my selve in the past nothing ever gets done . all i can say is i rarely play when i do i hit 1v1 or i use juggernaut , 2v2 as a 33 is too risky, far too often i get that lvl 28-30 none varium partner against two full var 33s and my partners build well putting it politely is about as bad as bad gets, 2v2 is messed up has been for a long time NOT going to change

Emptiness -> RE: a major issue (10/19/2011 19:43:09)

Out of the 40 wins from another day i lost 4 of them, now 3 out of the 4 loses were due to my partner lagging out that's 75%. Which is close to 100%, the results speak for themselves.

Oh come on, 75% is close to 100%?

Well 1% is close to 1000% x 10^99.

Relativity doesn't argue your case here!

PivotalDisorder -> RE: a major issue (10/19/2011 19:52:07)

I would rather risk 2v2 than enter 1v1 and face all the OP str builds every fight.

Emptiness -> RE: a major issue (10/19/2011 19:52:13)

out of 4 loses 75% is a lot, and its only 1 lose away from 100%, now could you imagine how much it is with the people who play more?

Renzan -> RE: a major issue (10/19/2011 19:54:48)

Yes! Exactly! They should add an ally link ability. We also need some compensation if our partner just leaves or lags( maybe once they miss 2 turns) Or they should at least change up the pairing system.

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: a major issue (10/19/2011 20:05:58)

Exactly 2vs2 is seriously messed up. You get a lose if your partner leaves. You get a lose if you get D/Ced on a update. You get a lose if you disconnect because of lag issues within the game itself.

Lord Nub -> RE: a major issue (10/19/2011 20:26:25)

Ally link would make it a new feature. As stated in many other 2v2 threads, 2v2 is very much enjoyed due to the unpredictability it brings and it also keeps the non variums around for many reasons.

For one, Nons have the excitement of partnering with some varium beast and getting all excited and enjoying the game. If it were ally link, they would have nowhere to turn and would be overwhelmed even more so.

If they were to fix the disconnect issue I believe we would see a significant increase of enjoyability.

I do hope that one day they introduce a new game mode that allows us to fight alongside our friends every time. This would add a TON of strategy and increase gameplay which in turn increases the amount of cash the devs pocket.

I have no doubt that it will be introduced eventually, just look at the player demand.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: a major issue (10/19/2011 21:14:23)

2v2 linkup in the normal 2v2 mode would wreck it.

2v2 linkup with a challenge feature would work just fine [like 1v1 challenge]

rej -> RE: a major issue (10/19/2011 22:52:14)

2V2, again.... when we have all these balance issues concerning heal? Really?

PivotalDisorder -> RE: a major issue (10/20/2011 0:00:07)

@Rej: those balance issues are already being worked on, the skill tree change to tactical mercs is incoming.

Secret1337 -> RE: a major issue (10/20/2011 9:30:11)

2v2 is great, more credits and exp.
But if ur lvl 28 with a lvl 27 and the others are 33 and 23. You know you'r screwed.

ansh0 -> RE: a major issue (10/20/2011 9:33:47)

If you hate 2v2 that much then gather 20k credits,buy yourself a sliver skull card and make your life's easier with Juggernaut.
it's that simple.

Gepard Acht -> RE: a major issue (10/20/2011 9:39:39)

how about 1vs1? even a lame guy like me can win lots of battle

Juggernaut is not simple these days. Plus, it would take at least 290+ juggernaut wins to get the 20k credits back you earned from it.
