Did you guys realize that cyber Hunter is the only class without 2 passives.

Yes. But Static Charge pretty much makes up for the missing passive. (unless it gets blocked...)

^Not really. If has a two turn cooldown. Its not really a passive.....and its annoying when it gets blocked. SA is based on luck. I don't know if we necessarily need another passive..but we need a slight buff.

The only passive we have is SA. Static is a piece of crap, it's useless, and stupid for being called a passive if you have to activate it like a skill. Make it unblockable or atleast 90% more chance to hit it's ridiculous, T-mercs that have no dex block me all the time and i have 30-36 with Lv 8 SA.
EDIT:Just checked, my SA is not Lv 8, it's maxed. Isn't that just great to know how crappy the RNG is?

The team needs to make SC unblockable.

@Bluekatz Definitely. I have yet to lose going first as a CH...except under some special circumstances. It works well if it's first. Sadly, I'm rarely first.

Order of how battles where I go first work:
1: Malfunction, Merc debuffs with assault bot.
2: Static charge, Merc smokes
3: gun, merc heals/ frenzy
4: Massacre. They're probably dead.
5: If they're not dead, rage SC.

would be too powerful then. I was already expecting it to be nerfed to 3 turn cooldown as it is. I suppose they could make it like malf,
even if you miss the 2nd part applies, but then they really would have to change assimilate too.

There are 2 things I notice about CH, hopefully be fixed.

1/ Weak against MP steal
2/ Only strong (nearly unbeatable) if so first

CH is a very weak class right now, and don't give me the "you don't know how to use it" crap. One of the reasons is that he inherited the Support requirement for Shadow Arts - that requirement was meant to nerf the str BH in the first place, but it badly affects CH now. It either needs that requirement to be removed, or it needs one more TRUE passive, because right now its chance to win depends 100% on Static Charge being blocked or not.

has one passive and it's the WORST passive. i don't even use the passive so basically i got 0 passives

Class only has one passive, and it is hard to use class. Mercenary only has 1 passive and it is rarely seen anymore. I think this just means that passives are to powerful. If all passives worked like static charge, they would be more fair.

So hybrid armor could work like: +1 defense and resistance point per level in ability, lasts for 3 turns after activated.


Reroute would gain more energy back, but you have to activate it every four turns or so. Same with shadow arts and blood lust.

guys, static makes up for the missing passive like what AQW said. i played as CH for 2 months and was pretty good with it. i say that SA is somewhat useful but i would be glad if it was replaced with something else.

The reason I said static charge could be too powerful is it allows you to string together offensive combos continually or
you can play full defensive if you are 2nd and still end up stringing together offensive combos towards the end.

yes you are screwed if it gets blocked, but being able to malf, static, multi and then massacre in first 4 turns isnt OP ? ;)

Yes, it is OP if your opponent is away from keyboard.
And so is Malf+Zooka+Gun+Stun Overload+Rage Bludgeon. And so many other combos.

but even if that wasnt enough, after the multi and massacre you can static again and rage multi or malf, heal etc.

it works almost too well. CH is my 2nd fav class by far, its why I have 2 of them :) I would love a passive we can use combined with what we already have.

No, it seems effective only on paper. This is the pattern that my alt's fights had when I was using a multi-massacre build.

Round 1:
You Malf - TLM debuffs
Round 2:
You static - TLM raises technician
Round 3:
You multi vs very high Resistance - TLM smokes
Round 4:
Massacre begins. But it is the TLM that unleashes it.

^This is when you go first. If you go second and get smoked, it is likely you won't make it to Massacre.

The only build I found to be somewhat effective against TLMs is this one: CLICK. Unblockables to avoid being blocked when smoked, a decent multi, decent shields, and EMP.

It is very similar in stats with a good Tech Mage build I have recently made and used. And it kills Nightwraith easily too.

maybe try this build. i used it to beat all the NPCs, won daily 1v1 champion achievement and beat the majority of str tac mercs.

if they went first and smoked, I didn't even bother to debuff. just malf, static, pray you connect, then you usually heal and finish up with massacre. if the fight is still going then static again and rage multi. i found it was effective even against 125 health str tac mercs.
