I think requiring 11 slots for electro hazard's mission is a bit much. Even the 6 pumpkin mission was really hard for me to accomplish in that I had to let go of some pretty awesome rares that I've had for a while. I've spoken to a bunch of people about it and there are many who are having the same problem. While this may be a worse problem for non varium users, a good handful of varium users don't seem too happy about it either.

I think we need one of the following

1)mission items not taking up inventory spaces, or having a separate allotment of inventory spaces for miscellaneous items.

2)stack-able mission items, with a counter (in stacks up to 5 or 10 if unlimited is a problem)



What are everyone else's thoughts on this?

I think having a temporary inventory would be beneficial, like AQW and DF has, for storing items that you are not immediately using or could go into a separate space to avoid clutter. Stacking is a good too, though :)

Simply in my case, i just dont even do those "collect" missions... i have default inventory slots and im not gonna buy more slots for varium, no way...

Is a good idea, and like Digital X said, it should be that way, but since it will take some time, why don't you get rids of some Bio Hazard Husks? You already got Treasure Hunter achievement[:D]

I sold some husks to get the spaces. Now i have some spaces lol

But drops bag would be a great idea. [:)]

Yush, stackable is OK. But! If someone has an Enhanced Item and 3 Identicals, only Unenhanced, how they stack?

Yea I think a Temp Inventory is good, banking system maybe each player gets a free first 5 slots? And as suggested already item stacking! Cause we do buy quite alot of Healthboosters.

So if there is items stacking possibly the max is x10?

It is an interesting dilemma. This particular concern was addressed initially; either the intent was to buy more expansion slots, or players had to sacrifice not completing the mission. Some rares will likely return and others will not. Everyone chose to make their own decision with each inventory they had collected during their time in ED. There was no force, and there should be no reason to be upset because you had chosen to do so.

Hopefully they will make a supplemental inventory for mission items.

Umm, JZ I have max expansion slots... The dilemma is that while selling the seasonal rares is an option, the low sell back price makes selling them unattractive!

There are also 4 slots taken just with stuff I can't sell and I would also sell the delta blades and staff since they are useless to me but I can't. There are several cases in ED where it is ironic relating to inventory, rarity and pricing structure. I was a long time supporter well before the rarity ranking and have not abused the system to inflate my rank.

I can't see why I should be forced to sacrifice weapons that used hard earned cash to purchase to complete missions that have unrealistic amounts of items to gather! Hence forcing players to either spend varium to buy slots or sellback weapons at what 15% of the original price! There are many obvious fixes ;)

im gonna have to go with goony here theres no reason why he should have to delete rare items to do a corny quest thats probably gonna get him something the equivalent of pie launcher.

AQW has a temporary quest item inventory. why cant ED?

G00NY, you are very correct for your situation. There are a few players who have hit the max in inventory spaces with not much options. As this game continues to level, this ceiling will be a growing problem. Hopefully the game will address these issues before it become further complicated. I am sadden players have to sell their rares/special items just to compensate for these past missions.

Hopefully the developers/moderators could give a specific reason why such high quantities of non-essential items were needed. An easier solution would have been just to make one non-essential item and add the cost in credits to cover the cost of 11 of them.

One has to weigh their options on what is more valued or important before deciding on selling it. If the item is easily obtainable, then create an alt and use that one to hold those mission prizes.

whats the point of having it in an alt if he cant trade it to his main?
it would be useless in his alt because he needs it for his main not his alt.
this wouldn't work unless u can trade/give items between ur own alt (in the same master account)

Goldslayer, the point it is... there is not an account trade system yet; there is no expanded slots beyond 100 yet, and there is no temp inventory.

If someone likes an item and wishes to obtain it regardless if it is on their main or not, this is another option and it is not useless.

By using the additional spaces on our accounts, it does provide added inventory spaces and buddy slots. Right now, single character expansion is not provided, so find other alternatives with what is provided till those needed areas have options.

I agree with B9000 here. It's unreasonable to ask 11 inventory spaces for a mission, even from a varium player. It's almost the same as asking a player to buy more varium just to complete a mission.
Making a separate inventory for mission items or making them stack are good suggestions, I really hope something like that would get impletement before the next stash of missions requiring 10+ mission items. :p

item stacking sounds great
i asume this also goes for regular items
so people with duplicate of a certain items are all stacked. and that way it only counts as 1 rarity and not all of them
(meaning rarity boards cant be abused by buying duplicate items many times over)
