Question:

The Poison starts off as Power: 1.
When it is boosted once, how much is the power boost?
Does it apply for the rest of the boosts?
(If need be, I'm talking about the level 123 version).
Is there a cap limit to how many times it can be boosted? (Hint: Combat Practice Trainer)

Despite Deadly Hunter's skill counting as a normal Player attack (according to In Media Res), your weapon Special still CAN'T occur.

@1stClassGenesis: I hope I've explained it in my 'Pedia entry.

You poison it once, and on the monster's next turn it gets the first of the 10 turns of poison. Then, you poison it again, and supply the monster with 10 new turns of poison, which then replace the old poisoning. But instead of resetting the duration to 10 turns, it increases the Power so that those 10 turns are compressed into the current duration (9 turns). Thus in the continuation, the Power is boosted so that each round the poison deals *10/9 damage. And so on. Technically, the limit would be 10 consecutive, successful attempts to poison the enemy before the original duration wears off.

Regardless, the poison is a "draining" poison, and heals you HP equal to the damage dealt.
