The entire bot engine had to be rewritten for the yeti to exist. I asked about the Krampus weapons, Nightwraith said that they'd be in the next release. The rest of the Krampus storyline won't be in-game until our Juloffenblotten event.

I agree with black sipdey. I was hoping for weapons, but when i logged in. All i saw was a yeti. I was like OMG. Well, im just gonna play xbox till next release xD

@ psibertus I can understand said players. Delayed updates. Tons of variums stuff, too little non-varium content. To few storyline updates. Hard-to-understand explanations as reason and strange or too late reactions to balancing issues. I m neither ungrateful, nor fond of ED, i just understand the mood. To admit: I m also not very happy that the whole update is just a varium item.

So maybe I was wrong. Maybe it wasn't going to be delayed until Friday. Still. You could tell they were "working hard" right? 1.5 weeks to recode the robot. And release the second most varium-wise expensive item in game.

I think people expect way too much from a flash game with a tiny team. its like they want massive updates every week, with varium and non varium equipment better than the previous releases, balance updates, storyline, new missions, new areas, vehicles, robots and so on. this isnt a multimillion dollar company. compare it to Blizzard, who have over 10 million paying accounts and more staff than the population of Macedonia [joking] yet their releases aren't always "epic" plus they are always working to correct balance issues, some of which they actually admitted defeat to, like 2v2 arena battles. people need to step back and realise that varium spending doesnt rake in a fraction of the cash a subscription game does. this game is Pay to win, games like WoW are pay to play. so like i said, ungrateful.

Comparing two different things. WoW isn't flash. Basically, in your own terms, I could compare Mojang (creator of Minecraft) to ED. Same size of team ratio (4-5). Yet Minecraft has 4 million players. Weird huh?

minecraft is appalling, I don't care about 4 million morons who wanna play the most abysmal looking game ever. 4 million people I don't have to deal with on a day to day basis, thank god. my point was the players expect way too much. but hey if you wanna compare the effort involved in drawing new items on ED to drawing a lame looking block of mess that is supposed to represent some real world item on minecraft, go ahead. so yes, players here expect too much. ED might not be as "open" as minecraft, but artistically, it takes a giant steaming dump on it.

Meanwhile, the team making Minecraft is hugely popular, getting upwards of millions of dollars. While the ED devs are scrounging for spare change. Not to mention, you probably have never played it. Probably decided to be a "wannabe", and proclaim that Minecraft looks like crap. Obviously, you've never played the game. Or bought it.

I have read a ton of stuff on the official forums, all the alpha players ripping on anyone who doesn't think the sun shines out of the game designers ass and the same lame argument of "if you haven't played it you cannot judge it". well I am not a paedophile either but I will quite happily judge them as sick in the head. Idc about Minecrafts gameplay, cause EVERYTHING you do in that game looks like crap. I also watched a ton of videos that show all the "great" things people have made. I do not dispute they spent a long time making their giant phallus waterfalls etc but it still looks horrendous. looks aren't everything, but minecraft isn't cute, isn't even retro. its just purposefully made that way cause he has no actual artistic talent. so yes 4 million morons play it. im done discussing another game. go back to minecraft and stop complaining about ED please. you are ungrateful as are many others.
