Let's see...

  • Purchaseable classes
  • Cheap and useful enhancements
  • Another way of earning money (membership)
  • Easily attainable main currency (gold)
  • Daily chance to get the special currency (ACs through ballyhoo and Battle Bar)
  • Reputation, making us farm daily for one specific class (makes more sense since you need to understand the area and the people/monsters there to be able to use a class)

I agree to all you guys say specially FUN, i think Ed is getting boring, the only thing we do here is kill people and redo-it all over again

cheap affordable premium plans.

for exampe the 3 month member ship with 6k acs for only $25
it lasts u 3 months and then an AC bonus.
while in ED the large pack is $50 and so far the varium lasts about 3-4 weeks. sometimes even less.

Also, AQW is doing good in their main focus: the storyline. Whereas ED is doing very badly in their main focus (PvP) with all the unbalance. You know, there can be no PvP game where there is no balance.

Aqw has: Loads of quests, with good looking stuff
The gap is very close except members get a couple stats more, special mem class, better looking weapons
But the story line has gotten very boring lately because it is taking forever to defeat all the chaos lords one by one

@AQW If there can be no PvP without balance then no game has PvP truly. I cannot name one game where everything is perfectly balanced in everyway.

On-Topic

AQW: Storyline, bugs(bunches), larger staff.
ED: Factions, PvP, less bugs, strategy, equipment that actually makes a difference to your playing, skill animations(most of those skill animations in AQW are shared by several classes), stats that actually matter for winning or losing.

Aqw: They have more players, more mods, more storyline, more quest, more weapons, more places, etc
Ed: More Unbalance, more expensive weapons,

IMO if there were no classes, and just skills, the game could be better.
basically allow the players themselves to pick the skills for their build from scratch.

for example

Primary Passives: (3 primary passives)
Reroute
Bloodlust
Hybrid Armor

Secondary Passives: (6 secondary passives)
Static Charge
Shadow arts
Bloodshield
Deadly aim
assimilation
(NEW passive here)

Ultimate Finishers: (3 or 6 ultimate)
Surgical Strike
Massacre
Super Charge


Energy Drain:
EMP
Atom Smasher
(assim is also a passive)


Poisons: (3 poison options)
poison Grenade
Venom Strike
(new poison here)

Attacks:
Double strike
Bludgeon
Cheapshot

Debuffs:
intimidate
malfunction
smokescreen

Multi attacks:
Artillery Strike
Plasma Rain
Multishot

Heavy Attacks:

so basically in the end, u can choose a certain amount from each of these categories
for example, u can only have 1 primary passive, and only 1 secondary passive.
then i guess 1 attack, 1 heavy attack, 1 multi, 1 stun, 1 poison. and so on.

this would give players ultimate variety in builds and it will let people be more creative.
and IMO it may be more balanced.

while u may not agree with this, i would like to hear some opinions on this.

ED is better then AQW in a lot of things. The only difference is that the ED team is smaller and therefore not 100% capable of handing out weekly releases. Also, ED costs more.

But for everything else, ED is much better then AQW. AQW is a dress-up game. Literally. The storyline is only improving thanks to Alina. Thats about it. The PvP there isn't even that great. The monsters are easy to solo, while bosses like the Armor Hazard actually are pretty difficult.

Items in AQW are good looking, but pointless as any item can be as good as another and they're all pretty cheap and useless.

Overall, ED > AQW.

In fact most of AQW releases have very few bugs. On the other hand, most of ED releases are delayed because some bug or coding problem (technically the same)

AQW: Something beside PvP and money dumping
ED: Some what call strategy

@bluekatz Do you know how many times I have had to wait on an AQW release to get fixed because a bug would prevent the map from loading? More times than I care to ever count. I waited close to an hour once, hoping that I was cancelling the map loading too soon and still nothing happened. That sort of thing almost never happens in ED and when it does, there are few people who get effected by it. I've hardly heard of any bugs that weren't purposefully tested that happened to multiple people repeatedly, with the exception of the Admin kicks resulting from battling in houses and faction HQ. Other than that, few people report the same bugs except when they're the obvious ones.

@ND they aren't bug, the admin thing is coded to do so. The infinity load thing is when your data crash in the middle and there's no reason to stop it from keep loading. ED loading size is a lot smaller than AQW and its server contain less people therefor it crash less. Just clean cache and play with low ping internet
