@Den: Either you didn't read all of what I said, or you completely misunderstood it. I didn't once say anything about quitting the game or anything of the sort, and I have no idea where you got that out of what I said to be honest. My point is that Artix Entertainments, is one of the most generous companies you'll find. Saying they are greedy and they just want money shows that you have either not been part of the AE community for long, or you've just ignored every charity event, any free give aways etc. If the company were just in it for the money, why would they just give large amounts of money away? That's like saying Bill Gates is only in the business for money, yet he gives millions upon millions away to charities, which kind of proves that it's not. This is just on a smaller scale of course. The game is not just in it for the money, it's your choice if you pay or not. Of course, there are benefits for paying, but this is natural, there has to be benefits for paying. The other thing is that the game could easily be P2P (pay to play), which means no free players could play at all. What EpicDuel and other AE Games do is allow you to play and enjoy the majority of the game for free, then you have the option to enjoy it more, and add to the experience by paying. Complaining about it costing too much is like me buying Elite on Modern Warfare 3, then complaining I had to pay, and have to keep paying, when I could play it for free. We add this content for you to enjoy, you can put as much as you want in to it, and that's true for everyone who plays it. We are very grateful to those who pay, and we show that by giving additional perks for it, but we can't give too many perks to make it unfair to those who can't pay. With the majority of content, including this war, we don't say 'this is how it's going to be, it will stay this way', we've always said things are likely to be changed next release if there are problems. When we've alerted you to that, you then have the choice to use all your Varium this week, or save it for the next release just in-case, and just NPC it until then. That's my point.
