Does anyone think this game 's goals are too boring?

You reach Commander, Emperor, Grand Emperor, LEGEND...but what's the excitement in that?

You reach 7 stars, 1 blue star...2 BLUE STARS, but what do I win from that?

You do 50,000; 100,000; 500,000 War Kills...so? What did you get for doing that (except the measly, yet very cool looking Warlord achievement).


My point is, should EpicDuel be more rewarding? A weapon, a bike, more recognition. This game is not cheap, yet Developers don 't even give us excitement over our "achievements" in this game.

Ya I agree but its still a young game, stuff like that are extras that take time to be implemented.

Since when is pleasing costumers something Extra? I always thought that was the first thing in business .

They are trying to do that by continuing updates that please the entire community for the most part. If you want rewards etc then draw them up and suggest them so it takes the time strain off of them and maybe they will use the idea with enough support.

I also thought pleasing the customer is main point of the business. Without us, there's no money (and no game) so we are technically most important part of the business.

Rewards should be given for all of the above. They aren't easy to reach either, so that pays for the price already. If it was weapon for let's say 50K War Kills, then it should be free as you either spend a LOT of Credits to get to 50K or Varium, so this in itself pays for the price of a reward. Things like Stars for example can be gotten for Free really, so cosmetic rewards would be perfect here. Since 1-2 Blue Stars are a bit hard to reach, reward would be cosmetic item but it'd have to change with time since more cheevos are being made and it's quicker and easier to get to Blue Star.
We're still yet to see rewards for our Support to the game by purchasing Varium but that's probably not the topic here.

But overall yes, there should be a reward for this as it takes a lot of time or money to get either of them but people don't care. Small rewards would be good for Ranks, especially Commander and above as they aren't as quick to reach and even harder for Emperors, but what's the satisfaction of playing a lot to get to X rank and get nothing? None.

Rating points need to have a meaning (a special shop for high ratings in example).

Also more REAL earnable achievements, the game would become so much more addictive. :)

For me, Ive played for awhile(Like 3 years) And just got commander cause Im more a sociality so i dont want to spend another 4 and a half years trying to get eperor they should have more goals >.<

I was thinking, maybe fighting could be implemented to with games and such, such as using power bars or more meters like rage.

I agree you would think the games first priority would be to please its customer base but lately it seems these latest releases and also past goals give no real excitement except in that one moment you achieve it. I would be nice if say you reach legend you get some nice looking achievement and a nice item of some sort house item or otherwise

I still like the idea of getting one bonus credit per win/lose per star. (Player with 7 stars = 32 + 7 credits per 1v1 win. Player with two 2 blue stars = 32 +9 credits per win.)

As for war kills... well... why would we need more reward for that? I suppose we could add an achievement calls "my daddy gives me a lot of money" earned by achieving over 100,000 rating points, but that would be purely for comedic relief.

Well, stars are hard as heck to earn if you don't get the freebies like founder badges etc. These stars should have meaning because I am on my way to the 6th one and will need to to a fair amount of grinding to get there. How people manage 7 and beyond completely escapes me, they should be rewarded for their efforts though, seeing only the meaningless stars seems futile. So an actual reward I can agree on, special bike or mystic weapon with an effect of some sort, brain storming ftw :)

7 stars wasn't even that hard, so hang in there bro [:)]. Even if you take both founder and beta away from me I could buy the 1 last achievement from the shop and get my 7th back.
Maybe have war kills award more war points per npc fight (maxes at 50k to prevent variums from dominating it) and stars give discounts on varium and credit prices.

The entrepreneur skills of the higher ups make the game implode not expand. Therefore they must ask so much from so few. And in return we shall be grateful! [8D]

@ Mr. Black Op; Agreed. 7 stars was way too easy. Unfortunately, I've cleaned out the achievement shop, so I can't buy m way to my blue star. [:'(]

I agree. It would be cool to have more rewards (kinda like pvp drops) but not rusty or broken. So you dont have to spend all your hard earned creds all the time.
