Before we go completely off-topic here, please keep any discussion of balance to the appropriate topic, no need to post your balance issues of classes and how much they struggle here. This is not the place for it!

personally, I'm not finding the multi change (again, it was both 'nerfed' (less damage vs 2 targets) as 'buffed' (less energy against 2 targets)) that much of a problem. I agree that it pretty much killed my build, and dropped my win % from around 95% last week to 80-85% this week, but I changed build to a malf-heal-Static charge build, and I'm getting 90+% again, which is more then good enough, isn't it?

Other then that, my personal favorite this update is 100% sure the fact that we can now have actual mission chains. Absolutly Awesome if you ask me :)

What I meant, with 'it killed my build', was that it made it far less effective (AKA 4 times the losses).
I didn't mean that it was very very bad now. All I meant to say, is that there are ways to 'fix' your build after this update.
But yes, I agree, 85% wins is enough for a level capped full varium player. (Which doesn't mean that I don't like having more).

Sorry if you tought that I meant that the update made me lose way to many battles. That was not my intention, My intention was only to show that is had drastically effected my build, but that there are ways to fix it.

@frogbones. I have to agree, they've gotten so used to having wins handed to them that anything below a 90% win ratio seems foreign now. The whole balance tracker thing is an illusion imo. In a pvp game how will money ever be made if everything is harmonious. There's always that 1 build, that's why I stick with a bounty hunter, because come what may, they stay viable and can still combat these overpowered builds/classes and with enough luck completely annihilate these tech cybers. Mercenaries are still good atm, imo they're in a good place on the epicduel ' power ' scale at present. Mercs can still rock 2v2 or do equally well in 1v1 but I must say that mercs are easiest for me in 1v1 no matter what their build. Unless we're talking that new build where they have like over 100 energy and then do that other attack that stops your rage. That build has proven pretty effective against mine because I barely beat them when I do and lose properly when I do XD But yeah, after my 8 month break I tried cyber hunter and found the build way way too easy to use. I was stomping str bounties as if it were a carnival game. Why the heck did they also remove supp boosting your heals, that's so lame. So to get a decent heal now you need like a level 4 or 5 heal only to be greeted by someone with a level 1 emp XD In the face... Not nice.

Ashari, not every Blood Mage was using Plasma Rain in 2vs2, I found out as well as many others
to get any noticeable damage before the update in 2vs2 we had to use Reflex boost to get up to 180
dex to get in the mid 40s damage. 80+ DEx I will put dex at 82 and try max Plasma rain with and
without reflex boost at max to see if it is really that effective and will post the numbers but have you
tried 82 DEX Plasma Rain in the real Game 2vs2 environment yourself.

andy123 and PivotalDisorder, I notice Electro hazard was getting pretty good damage on you with the Delta Armor
since I have multiples armors I tried every single energy Armor with high dex/tech I did not get blocks with
Delta armor without energy shield or intimidation, but with the other E armors without energy shield and Intimation
I was getting blocks after blocks. An armor should provide enough protection without using any skills because those skills only
last for a specific amount of time and once your energy is out you can't use those skills and so the armor is to give you the
protection to lessen the damage and if an armor can't do that without the skills it is sub par for that level armor.
andy123 I will not class change and taking attacks on me to youtube is pretty low.


Many of you fail to realize even staff, that not every player has a 2vs2 multi build so it is necessary to get as much damage as
possible. Out of 50 2vs2 matches I ended with maybe 1 partner with a multi build and against high tech builds the plasma
rain is weak except at high dex.

Point is, even if I got damaged a lot I still won easely unless I get extremely unlucky and Luck can't be considered a Balance issue...
Those skills are there for a reason so eather use them or stop complaining about something that isn't an issue

I love epicduel players, one video on a few electro hazard defeats somehow validates a class being on par with the balancing. BM's are weak, I tried one myself to find this out so I don't need anyone to validate it for me. In fact, I am so confident that I challenge any BM to a duel if you want to, then I can prove to you just how pathetic the class is. Not only will I win most times, I'll come very close if I somehow do lose. I fear even normal mercs more than a BM, as bland and predictable as they currently are I really don't see how BM's are any good. They started out as the weakest class along with cyber hunter when the new classes came out and nothing has really changed, aside from the fact that cybers are now dominant in both modes and basically tech mages follow not long thereafter. I tried multiple builds with a bloodmage, you end up getting blocked and you lose a whole bunch of matches even with high dex- ala my experience after playing the horrible class. I am pretty good at synergy with skills so I am by no means a sloppy strategist. I am however guilty for trying weird builds at times. In case anyone wonders... My 1v1 record is 78% wins and that's mostly players as well. I was a non varium until nearly level 31 when bounties only had 2 claws to choose from in game that weren't rare. Try having my record after that little test. I am also busy raising my percentages which I am finding fun in between all the experimenting.

^^It may have just been luck, cuz with max reflex, giving me enough dex for 36-41 defense, I didn't get a single block, with an impressive support difference in my advantage and max SA, I didn't get a single stun. But in 2v2 it was me, a 34 full varium, against a 34 varium BM, and a lv 30 partial varium.

Somehow me and my teammate managed to get dominated. A crit on bludgeon for 50+, and a lvl 7 fireball that did 40+ (74 total damage), and my teammate was quickly eliminated. Needless to say, I didn't even manage to get his partner before I was defeated.

@Vampiric Prince: sorry about the video, wasn't meant to show BM were powerful, just that they are well equipped to deal with Electro Hazard.
I also struggle a bit with BM, but seems the problem is Cyber Hunters and EMP/Atom Smasher, without those I think they would be pretty good.
