yes the reason is cause the development team knows three things. Give us new missions, make new weapons and bot and give us a weekly nerf. This is the only game that makes us pay to have more friends in my friends list can u believe this lol. You are questioning the wrong group.

well when I listened to the oversoul demo's, they honestly made it more interesting. Obviously everything gets old, but I think sound effects will keep players playing longer, and give newer players that "wow factor". They shouldn't be like the sound effects in DF though. Should have some change in weapons. If you have ever played DF for more than a hour with sound you know what I mean.

It will take forever to make different sound for all the weapons tho... there are hundreds of them.

individual sounds? Are you putting words in mouth? ... E and P weapons should obviously have diff. sounds, but maybe the frost weapons or heartbreaker weapons could have diff. sounds. diff. sounds by diff. themes; just so they don't get boring. Not to many obviously.
