The Rules of Forum Support and Suggestions Read the Universal Forum Rules before posting! These should be the first thing you read when you join the forums. Not knowing them is not a valid excuse for rule breaking as you agreed to abide by them before signing up for the AE Forums. All the Universal Rules apply to this forum which means no flaming, no trolling, no spamming your signature or emoticons, and no mentioning hacking. Respect and Courtesy are a must This forum is for asking questions relating to forum policy, how the forums work, and making suggestions to the AE forums. Treat others as you would want to be treated; meaning be polite and courteous in both asking and answering questions. Mistakes and confusion will occur, so give the benefit of the doubt. Posting in a trolling, flaming, ridiculing, and/or hateful manner will not be tolerated. Please remember that we were all new once; new to the forums and new to the games. Responding to questions with kindness and understanding is not a request, it is a demand. Any instances of discourteous replies that flame or troll another user will also be met with consequences including official warnings. No Game Questions This forum is for forum related questions, not game questions. If you have questions relating to the forum, then this is the correct place. Any questions relating to the games should be asked in the appropriate game forum. No Game Suggestions This forum is for forum related suggestions, not game suggestions. If you have suggestions relating to the forum, then this is the correct place. Any suggestions relating to the games should be posted in the appropriate game forum. Use all available resources There are plenty of places to find information that can answer your questions. Look for threads about your topic before posting to see if your question has already been answered. Use the AE forum's Frequently Asked Questions as many commonly asked questions can be found there. If you need to know where to post something, look at the Complete Forum Index. Threads that do not belong in this forum will be deleted and a notice will be sent to the thread starter. Do not Spam Spam is anything that is not directly related to the topic at hand, as well as any additions to a post that are deemed superfluous and unnecessary. This includes (but is not limited to): repeating answers, changing topics, posting excess smileys, and double posting. Do not Mini-mod Mini-modding is taking it upon yourself to do the work of a moderator or Archknight. It is not your place to tell users what to do, nor should you degrade them for breaking the rules. If you see a rule breaking or troublesome post/thread, PM a Moderator or a Forum Resources Archknight to have the problem dealt with. Posts that are solely quotes of rules will are not what this forum is for. Answer the question politely and add links to where you obtain the information from. Do not Hijack threads If you have a question or suggestion, start a thread of your own. Hijacking another forum member's thread by asking another question, or derailing the thread by an off-topic remark is not permitted. Use proper Etiquette when posting This forum is for helping forum users and making suggestions to benefit the forum. Posting threads like "Ask Questions Here" and "I'll help" have no use because if you are making a thread, the assumption is you need forum help, and threads that do not fit the purpose of the forum are not needed. This also applies to answering questions: if your post does not add to the answer, do NOT post it. Posts like "I agree" or "I do not know" will be deleted as spam. Forum Staff have the final say The AE forum moderating team and the Forum Resources ArchKnights have the final say in all matters of forum rules and policy.
