That'd be fine, Tdub, if you think Talon can handle so many opponents at once. Just keep in mind that the mist at the edges of the path should be slightly obscuring Flynn and Mona from your view. Post will be up in a bit.

Oh, Talon won't see them. (He's a little busy at the moment.) Maybe a wayward attack or a proposal of alliance. It could end a big confusing fight mob. By the way, would your character be one to leave your fight if, say, a gust of wind were to accidentally get near her? Maybe its my slight OCD, but I think it looks strange to have everybody fighting in one place, with just two people in a 1-on-1 somewhere else.

Depends on the status of the fight. If she just started or there's a stalemate, then probably not. If she's winning and sees no danger with turning her back on her opponent, then probably. If she's losing, and sees attempting to escape her current opponent and challenging what she sees as a lesser threat, then again probably. She might not even see a gust of wind as a direct attack anyway, and ignore it altogether. In her current position, she would probably ignore it, especially seeing as her current opponent is a wind competitor. Edit: And posted. I hope Des' actions were clear enough.

A quick question: Apocalypse, is that tail going to stay in the skin once it has peirced? I plan for Talon to see it too late, but still dodge a little. I need to know if I should have it go all the way in Talon or just slice him? I don't want me saying it comes out when it is supposed to be stuck.

It would dart in and then out, much like a scorpion's tail would. If it were to hit dead-on, the entirety of the six-inch spike would burrow itself in Talon before removing itself. (Though dodging a little would change this depending on how its dodged, of course)

Okay, Apocalypse. I'll get my post up after The Extinguisher. Since Talon's plan failed, I won't have to wait for Gedd to post. Aurim has been pushed to the back of Talon's mind, so a surprise attack will have an impact.

Posted. The attack that is aimed towards Alexis is intended to work the same way as the one from the beginning flashback in my post. For clarification that means: It sticks to anything it touches. It's highly (and magically) corrosive; it'll eat through pretty much anything. It degrades pretty quickly though; if it got you on the arm for example, it would probably burn most of the skin off, but not reach the bone before its broke down into a magical black smoke.

Posted. This is the result of a collaboration with Apocalypse. Unfortunately, I had too much to post, so the most that came out of it was the last line showing Viraus flying in the air. Brandon will be blown as well, only slightly less powerful. Everyone else will only feel a slight breeze. Extenguisher, those herbs will take away most of the pain, (Assuming the Spitter's attack misses. If it hits, it won't do much about that, only the area where the mace hit you.) but will take a while to fix anything. (If Alexis trusts the herbs at all.) Talon hopes Alexis will staunch the flow of blood with ice, although he doesn't know if you are capable of that.

I made a post. Brandon hopes to jump on Talon's back and strangle him to death. Blazing hands cannot be good for the neck, can they?

Mrbk, I doubt that Brandon's hands will be able to get around Talon's neck, though the fire is still a problem. The Maelstrom is just one large gust of wind, usually used to defeat enemies when surrounded, but in Talon's anger, he focused most of it towards you.

@Tdub: I know how life works... If things don't speed up, I'm going to have to eventually forfeit the Championships at the end of the month because of real life activities that'll leave me without internet for three weeks... And there might not be a next Championship either, because if things go the same, I may miss the next 3-4 Championships.

Well, the dropoffs, according to the application thread, should be over late this week or early next week, but the finals will last for several weeks after that. On topic, I'll have a post up in a few hours. I've just got a few things to do. Edit: Post is up! Talon has hatched a desperate plan to kill Brandon after he lucked out with the fall. (I hope you don't mind me saying Brandon narrowly missed Talon. He was going to land anyway, and I couldn't think of a way to get Brandon off Talon's back without bunnying.) Brandon has three metal points with strings surrounding him, trying to tie him up. Brandon won't bee able to see the spear very well, but he'll be able to hear it as it gets closer to his head. (The spear is aiming for his head.) Talon is also balancing badly on his hind paws, hoping to fall on Brandon at the same time the spear hits him, ripping his heart out. Talon is taking a chance, but he hopes to have a nice soft human to land on.

So, I have a post idea, but I need to know something. I'm going to have Brandon rolled sideways to get out of the claws way, but i'm going to have one get lodged in his arm. How will this affect Brandon? Will he get stuck at the scene, or will he be able to continue trying to get away?

I'm assuming you mean the ones currently in the air with strings, if one were to be lodged in your arm, it would stay there, until Brandon gave it a moderate tug. The points were designed for wrapping up enemies or piercing small animals. It isn't meant to stay in a human-sized foe.
