I wonder how will stats be used in OS? For damage stat, wouldn't that mean like using 1 damage card, it deal with like another damage? Another example, Fireball, dealing more than 10 damage? For defence stat, a 5 block shield card will give us more than 5 shield? That may somehow unbalanced the game and in PvP battle as well.

Edit: To be honest, i think stat should not be include in OS.

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:01:54)

@megakyle maybe the +3 means that fire characters have 3 more health at the beginning of the battle?

Andlu -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:03:44)

Guys we can't talk about stats. How about talking of chaos cards? They really bugs me when it comes to luck :/

What is the point of naming that feature elemental resistance then?

@Andlu

Why can't we talk about stats? It is a feature which will get implemented sooner or later.

The Jop -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:05:40)

Why can we talk about chaos cards but not stats? Neither are speculation; Nulgath has said he intends to integrate both in the game.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:11:34)

@BJEBLE
I don't think this will happen otherwise the elemental resistance is just truly pointless. Besides, it won't make sense to have an additional HP as levelling up is the only way to increase HP unless you have HP boost.

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:12:00)

@vagaran because when you have more health, you can resist something more?I don't know.Maybe it's +1 damage, +1 health, and +1 shield for the first four turns?It would be more balanced that way.

Vagaran -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:12:12)

@megaknight Or END is going to be a stat.

Beck -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:12:16)

For starters, I'm predicting that instead of 1, 2, and 5-Attack cards, Chaos characters will have 0-2, 1-3, and 4-6 Attack cards.
That would be a pretty fair way of including Chaos in the game.

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:15:07)

@Lord Beck, yeah it's much better than the 1-10 damage card I saw like 7 threads ago.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:15:16)

@vagaran
Good point. Endurance, why would i forgot that stat?

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:16:38)

Baybe we could add decimals into the game and make it like: 5.5 shields instead of 5 shields.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:18:35)

@BJEBLE
What? Sorry to be rude but there is no way decimals can be included in a RPG or MMORPG game especially AE games.

Lord of Pandemonium -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:19:24)

I'd rather raise every number by 10, then divide by 10 and get decimals, using decimals won't look clean and 55 looks better than 5.5

Beck -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:20:58)

Decimals are hard, and evil. No decimals!

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:21:00)

@Well it would only include half decimals, instead of .35 or .476 or something like that.

Vagaran -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:23:00)

Decimals will just cause chaos to the game.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:25:03)

Talk about chaos character. Decimals will definetely cause chaos in battle. I don't think Nulgath will plan this in OS.

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:25:56)

What if it only raised the 1 attack, 2 attack, and 5 attack cards by three?But it should increase the cost by one to make it balanced.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:28:54)

@BJEBLE
Dude, one thing that most of the forumite speculate is that the elemental resistance might increase the damage or defence of the cards by +2 or +3. This is only just a guess, once elemental resistance is release, we may not expect the ability of elemental resistance.

Andlu -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:30:45)

We can talk about chaos card because it was announced by the staff. Stats are only "Seeable" by glitching which is illegal.

Megadragonknight -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:31:40)

@Andlu
One of the chaos card we know is Chaos buff.

Nulgath confirmed stats will come in the future, hence we can discuss stats aswell.

ND Mallet -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:33:38)

You can talk about stats, you just can't provide pictures of it or talk about those pictures since it's still unreleased content. Speculation is all fine.

Andlu -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread LXXIII - READ THE FIRST POST (1/24/2013 11:35:26)

Ohk. That rules are so confusing in my head. Well stats SHALL not be in game. Only end maybe but no other. I don't wanna DEX for example.
