Clutch -> How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 3:35:23)

So one thing i've noticed is that everyone loses a lot more in Omega, and it can be extremely frustrating. So my question is, how do you handle it? Do you just shrug it off? Do you curse out your opponent? Blame the ED Gods? Throw your computer against a wall? Rage quit? OR ALL OF THE ABOVE?! Because I can't say I haven't done them all... :P.

the final hour -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 3:37:38)

listen to the none varium telling me how i paid too loose and im a noob yada yada.... exit the fight log off ED go do other stuff . and just remember for next time i consider taking money out of my pocket for this game i just remember .

thats how i cope with it.

comicalbike -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 3:41:52)

well for me i don't mind losing as long as the game is fun but as the fun is gone well that's OK by me i just wont play so much

Betabot. -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 3:43:03)

Move away from the screen, sit in a corner and think of a happy place. lol jks

I just shrug it off, it's just a game. Just keep on playing.
BTW I've noticed that I have been winning more, so I think you are doing something wrong.

the final hour -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 3:44:50)

^ naw just lucks on your side all it boils down to as it stands

Mother1 -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 3:50:15)

I was called varium noob my non variums before omega. Back then they were jealous I bet. Now when I see it non variums are now on a white pedestal every time they beat a varium player. Ha you pay to lose?

I have quite a few come backs for them but for times sake I will say 2

1 Be lucky the staff took pity on non variums otherwise you would still be my punching bag. (The mean comeback)

Or the classic

2 Did you say something?"

But seriously I don't see any of this myself as no one actually says it to me. Everyone I played will say just good game or good fight.

NEOCROM -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 3:51:33)

Omega=The perfect proof how they "thank" us for paying for varium.

isaiahfish90 -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 3:51:49)

Well when noobs who only win because they went first mock me, I rage on forum about adding a mute button to the report system. Also an option for harrassment of players due to the fact they *ahem* "paid to lose." - Direct quote from a noob with basic everything who just put every point into str and double strike nd bezerked me.

Also I want to add there should be a penalty for mocking players because they paid. It really makes me want to go and do something crazy like... idk, Maybe never play an Artix Entertainment game again?

Betabot. -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 3:56:05)

Hmm this topic is getting sidetracked, like most topics these days are. I personally don't go against Varium, heck if I could I would buy a bit, I only get a bit through surveys. I just believe the Dev's went the right way in this update, to make the game fair and balanced. To many games these days are Pay-to-Win, I wouldn't might if Varium had a slight advantage over Credits, but before Omega it was turning to many people off the game.

theirs probably a reason for that [;)]

Digital X -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 5:13:57)

I don't get angry at all or anything like that. Just try to figure out what or when i did a skill or attack wrong and try to make it up for it next battle with the same person, or of one with similar stats etc. Most of the times, inbetween checking the opponents stats, skill tree or seeing what I have available and is going to make the impact to them i get a little ahead of myself thinking what I will do is the right choice, then suddenly decide not to do that and I'm darting the mouse over all skills under the sun trying to figure out what to do! [:D] But a calm, cool and collected brain, makes a better one.

Vegafire -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 5:22:29)

I Get creative and maintain my 90-95% win ratio, with a unuiqe build that works to my playing style, although not having it 99-100% is annoying when its lower level str abusers eating you with crits

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 5:30:15)

^

You had 99%-100% pre-Omega? o.0

I actually don't see too much flaming in battles, though that may be because I'm non-varium. Losing doesn't really bother me, because I actually have a decent fighting chance in Omega and I'm treasuring that.

Vegafire -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 6:27:40)

Heck no, i enjoyed the game and made stupidly insane builds but tried to get as many wins as i could without energy, maintaining a 60-65 % win ratio and making 4-10 rank on the 1v1 leaderboards per day,

Now that i need energy to survive i have devised a build thats currently getting me 90-95% win rate although i would like 99-100% :P

Stabilis -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 8:10:12)

Quite frankly I am not interested about losses because it seems that 1 build will always have their left hand on everyone's neck.

Cyberbeast10 -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 13:29:25)

How I deal with losses?

Next fight

Same guy? "This time, I'll win"
Different guy? "Beat this guy"

Tl;dr, Just think about winning the next one.

Votre avoir piraté -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 13:52:50)

1st I take my mouse
2nd I click end battle
3rd I click 1v1 :)

nico0las -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 14:01:07)

It's a picture on a screen. It shouldn't have any effect on you at all.
On a side note, playing this game just for fun helps.

@Below It's not even luck. It's first strike.

Calogero -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 14:03:02)

In every other phase I was like " Oh Well "
or when Luck was heavely biased " Lucky -_- "

Omega on the other hand is making me go
" What the Hell "
" ffss "
" Bs "

never has a phase made me so angry when losing to luck.

Cookielord12 -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 14:07:45)

I'm used to losing.

Darkwing -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 14:08:54)

with a smile on the face. makes me look at my build and try to make it better

Avast Volcano -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 15:02:17)

Go all gungho about hypothetical structures concerning the degradation of society and humanity until I regain my equanimity

King Helios -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 15:05:52)

^ You did that when I beat you? :p

Two options:

1) "Lucky Win" option: I get angry, and in extreme cases bounce a pen off of my desk. I then calm down, and hope that my 62 Support ewill give me more influence in the next battle.
2) "Outplayed" option: I try to figure out what I can do better with my build.

Hard boy -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 15:21:14)

get blocked 4 times with my dex build, and lose the match. alright just a fluke.
second battle they get 1st turn, block and crit, 1 more time im gonna log off.
happends again AHHHHHHHH *opens window, jumps out and purposely land on my head, then sit in the corner and rethink my life*

Santa ClawZz -> RE: How do you deal with losing? (2/8/2013 15:46:59)

I just rage at a random person on Skype until I make them feel bad about themselves.
