ReinVI, You just using Level 1 Malfunction will not help you win battles especially with low support let us take a look at you character page of another weapon that does a debuff of a buff that does damage, Azrael's Annihilator E, I used that Aux on Blood Mages in 2vs2 when they used E-shield, you know what happened the energy based attacks on them increased.

When did a Blood Mage completely heal with a sidearm? So any staff or Player can a blood mage gain back full health with the sidearm as ReinVI claims?

Even though your base strength is lowered you still have your damage from your primary and sidearm not -10 damage.

Now list all the skills that you have that you refuse to use due to only way you think you can win is with a bot.

I went in and battle the Elite Yeti before the mission to see his weakness and to see wt what point dex and tech is most beneficial, I found the right build, and the right equipment and beat him three times the first with Infernal Android the 2nd two without using a bot.

In your little story you did not mention Fireball, Plasma Cannon, Plasma Rain, Overload, Super Charge or that they used bludgeon and Infernal Android on you is the reason why you lost not because of Fireball, Plasma Cannon, Plasma Rain, Overload, Super Charge and definitely you did not loose because of Deadly Aim because that is a passive skill.

Just because you loose against the Blood Mage does not mean they are fine it is because you don't learn from your losses.

Learn the basics of the game (especially how Crits work; Bunker dealing more damage with 50% lower Tech than Plasma Cannon -> it's a Crit). And get a decent build. Having maxed DA (because it crits more.. lol), maxed Overload, maxed Plasma Rain and Lvl 1 everything else (including Blood Lust) won't allow you to win. Your build is poor, that's why you can't win. I'm using Dex abuse (116 Dex) BM and I'm doing perfectly fine in Juggernaut, even with people who have up-to-date items AND some with newer promos.

If you haven't noticed you are the only person who is having issues with blood mage while the masses are just fine with them. It is rare when I see someone other then you complain about blood mage being underpowered.

Not to mention when you claim something you hardly ever back up your claims with evidence proving your claims. I saw your build, and it screamed EMP me or I will destroy you with my dex spammed overload and plasma rain. You can't expect a build that has so many flaws in it to win especially if there is nothing to help you if your plan a fails.

LOL? Deadly Aim only got 1-2 damage reduced, and your BloodLust got buffed as well...

Mother1, because I actually test them while the masses stick to a 5 focus bot build, I have won matches without energy, I have shown in battle that I can win matches without weapons and that I don’t need the Infernal Android or gamma bot to win matches.

The come build among the merc class in the beginning of Omega Double strike Berzerker, why, because neither was being blocked even with reflex boost on, strength lowered, or being smoked so Berzerker has become an unblockable skill.

Good for you, however at the same time just because you don't use them doesn't mean that no one should use them. Plus I know you have beaten me in battle, however all I hear you complain about is all the things that are your weak points and how you want them either nerfed into the ground, or removed from the game. Balance doesn't work that way hun. Except that your build is suppose to have weaknesses not cry about everything that can destroy you trying to get it removed.

Plus last I checked I never used the infernal android on you. Heck in fact if I remember correctly when it first came out and it was up to the nerfing table you were upset about it getting nerfed if I remember correctly.

There is 1 big thing I am not approving during this release...
Assimilate is Overpowered and not even a small bit...

a lvl 35 with an 18 EP stealing/regenerating Strength-based skill at max?
I mean Really?

Tech Spam Techmages just became even harder to beat or even counter...
as a BloodMage, I'm running out of counters against them.

I can agree with you on this one. I only use 45 strength and I can get 17 energy regain/steal at max. If they wanted to buff assimilate they should have just double the number assimilate can drain and not make it improve with strength or take 100% energy. IMO that would have been a better buff without OP the move when it was balanced for most of the time.

WOW....


I usually admire you input on these forums.

This time however.... not in the least.


Saying its block able makes it balanced is wrong on two levels, First is the fact that you are actually supporting ridiculous luck rates and over influencing luck involvement in the game.

If you didn't support it then rather then defending an OP skill which is blockable you would be pushing for better a luck system.

Secondly block rates are only messed up versus those with shadow arts, saying an OP skill is fine because CHs and BHs have a high block rate is a PITIFUL excuse.


Your logic suggests that before berserk and double where nerfed they insane damage they did when they weren't block is completely justified because they have potential to be blocked.

Essentially you supporting crappy luck with powerful avoidable moves ruining this game forever on.




This no offense is one of the worst excuses I HAVE EVER HEARD to justify a skill being OP.




Plus if this is honestly the only excuse I see for defending this skill being so powerful.


Then I say MAKE THE DAM THING UNBLOCKABLE! (The energy drain side) if it means that they will then nerf it down to accaptable levels as it was before and reduce the energy regian back to 50% and add then extra 4th cooldown.

This is not an opportunity to snipe at each other or boast about who you may or may not have defeated in an attempt to offend another. To clarify, when I mention "sniping," I mean taking cheap shots at others just because you don't like their post. When discussing, please do not attack the person whose thinking you disagree with. Rather, attack the argument civilly instead. There's no reason why anyone should be telling another they don't like or respect each other in public. If you wish to boast about a victory, then the =ED= (Dis)Accomplishments Thread is here for you to post in at your own leisure, provided that you omit names or references to specific people to avoid offending them. From here on out, I'm putting a moratorium on the entire flame-baiting discussion about who knows more than the other, who likes/dislikes whom, or who's complaining to whom, because none of that belongs here or anywhere else in these forums for that matter. Particularly inflammatory posts have been deleted/modified in accordance to forum policy, and if anyone feels inclined to continue the likes, there will be severe consequences. You know who you are.

I for one am quite pleased with the balance update, except I think the Assimilation buff was a little over the top.

Other than that, I am loving the Celtic Cleaver, and my two shiny new ultra rare items, the Bounty Pistol and the Banx0rz Blade.

We asked for it to be usable with full energy and we got that but a handful of players complained about it's drain being too weak. Apparently this small section of the players saying the drain was too small won out.

If you had left the drain at the scaling method and given it the full refund instead of half I believe Assim would have been just fine. A 10 drain and 10 return plus whatever I get off of being struck is plenty of energy even if it comes with the price of a lv 7ish tier 4 skill

Ofcourse the Drain was small, It ' Stacks ' with Reroute...
If you use it TWICE now at max, you'd heal up 36 energy JUST
with assimilate... and knowing the devs, they'll just put a small nerf on it
but still OP...

Like I said, as a BloodMage, I'm starting to run out of counters against Tech Mages
with this OP release

Even with the small nerfs to BM, thank goodness it doesn't affect my strategies in battle that badly besides DA I can live without and the nerf on BL is not that bad either so this release is pretty balanced for the most part.

Oh yeah less crits is better since meeting opponents with low support, but criting every turn was pretty annoying.

Maybe they should just not give any energy back at all, They have reroute for Christ sake they dont need an other source.

the latest patch note was the best so far. im a focus BM and the DA nerf is very reasonable. never fought yet a TM with assimilation so i cannot say if its really OP or not. so far, good job devs, looking forward to a new event next week.

I was able to fight a TM with level 10 assimilation and he took 15 energy with 3 damage. its kinda like STatic charge before the nerf. anyway, i still beat him with focus BM so no worries.

Just saying Before this patch I drained 6 energy with a 3 energy return and after the patch I drain and get back 16 energy.

I would have been happy with drain and return 6 energy so that it doesn't get out of hand with say an STR mage build

Drain has always been 50% rounded up, until a week or two ago when it switched to rounded down. But that is a 9 drain with a 4-5 return which is a difference of 1-2 energy from 3 and that may not have an affect or it may be all the difference depending on the fight and how much energy you needed to use an ability.

I believe the drain went up to 100% because people were saying the skill was worthless but with a drain of ~13 at the level cap on a maxed Assim and a return of 13 would not be a huge issue as you had to sink 13 levels just to get that once every 4 rounds which is once a fight in most cases.

With this current patch I can drain 22 at lv 10 but I see no need to put points into it because at lv 4 I drain 16 which beat the previous max on Assim and that is a huge jump in power
